NEW Up to Date Rules: Updated April 18th 2011

I just want to check to make sure I can begin selling on Dec. 1. My account was started in 6/09 and I just wanna mae sure that its just month specific and not date specific

go ahead. (Dec 1)

I understand I cant sell yet and I read the FAQ but I couldn’t find a straight anwser about making a WTB. Can I start a WTB thread?

You are okay to Buy.
You are not okay to Sell or Trade.

You can buy anything you want, you just cannot sell/trade.

In other words, yes.

Also when I create said thread am I able to say " Hey I have stuff here ( Insert other sites I trade on)?"

Nope, same thing as selling.

righto.

I’m curious how the lack of join dates will effect the selling rule here.

Maybe mods can still see join dates?

EDIT: Ah yes yes yes. Duh.

you can go to people’s profiles to see the join dates

i see join dates on mine

Even mods can’t see join dates on some skins, we have to go into profiles to know via affected skin. Usually, we have to go in anyway to check post counts.

mine is on old school premium and i see it on that skin

I use blue steel so I’m screwed, I’m not changing this skin. Usually it’s the same people that use the TO so it’s not so bad.

I changed skin temporarily but usually it’s all about spotting irregular names.

Was there a reason they left or is this a glitch like last time? I’m sure Wiz or somebody knows by now.

It’s a permanent change. Not a glitch. But Wiz is going to see if the Trading outlet can show them.

I tried searching, but could not find the answer. Rules say you can’t sell WoW accounts and the like. Does this include my XBL account? I have MvC2 and SSF2THDRemix on my account and would like to add it to my sale. Thanks!

if a seller charges me $7 shipping (express&insurance) for 2 30mm plugs @ $2 a piece, isnt that an infraction since shpping cost @ minimum from NJ 2 NC is $2.

If a seller charges for priority mail insured (about 7 dollars) and then ships them using a different method for much cheaper, he would be in trouble

If a seller charges for priority, but requires way more than priority’s actual cost (ie 15 dollars), he would be in trouble.

If a seller charges for priority + insurance and ships using that method, it is perfectly fine. While he could (and probably should) use cheaper shipping on a small item, if you agree to pay for the faster shipping rate and insurance on an item that probably doesn’t need it, thats on you. Some sellers only like using one service and stick with that.
