best I can figure is amount of damage on first to second hit (even though they usually break that down in actual numbers)? either that or space between active frames on the two hits?
Anyway, despite the slight nerfs to my main, Im excited to see how this revision plays out. I think Bison will be up there, but its definitely too soon to really get into that. We should start a pool to see who will be considered top, just for shits and gigs.
I never did short cuts anyways so I’ve had no problems with specials and supers in 3S
• Faster forward, backward walk speed
• Hammer Hook (overhead) advantage revised; +3 on hit on standing, -1 on hit on crouching, -4 on guard for both; can be used when holding the knife
• If you hit a standing opponent, cr.LK → MK Ruffian Kick combos
• Bad Spray is now two hits, Super-cancellable; with an FADC thrown in, Bad Spray FADC Final Destruction (UC1) will connect
• MK Ruffian Kick has forwarded extended hitbox
• EX Zonk Knuckle: first hit does further horizontal knockback; EX Zonk FADC UC1 is now easier to connect
• Can now guard during Knife pick up
• (All while holding knife)
st.LP +6 on hit
st.MP is now 2 hits
st.HP is +3 on hit
cr.MP now has 4 active frames, smaller arm hurtbox, making it harder to stuff
cr.HP is now 7F start-up, easier to use as anti-air
The biggest thing to hit Yun is the dive kick thing…you have a height restriction now (like Cammy, but I am sure not as bad) in order to do it…
Stand strong didn’t get touched…you just can’t abuse the abusable stuff before (Lunge punch, Elbow, command grab) he’s still going to be REALLY good on the ground.
Yang stand LK nerf hurts him but I still think Fei got away almost scott free…everyone thinks he is nerfed hard because you can’t just rekka rekka but wtf would anyone do that if it was not completely safe anyway? He’s still + on the EX Rekkas?

Yeah 3s online has EX moves that won’t come out consistently…how hard is it to get one of these games right? Wow. Terrible interface on top of that…“online” edition failure until a “patch” comes out…
I dunno man the online feels buttery smooth, I really like the interface, kinda dislike the remixed music but I usually listen to something else while I play anyway. The extra features are great. Solid port imo.
Online GGPO = sputtered frame drops here and there. There won’t be lag but there will be disappearing which I can’t stand.
If you can’t get EX Moves out 100%, there’s a problem. The lobby issues are astounding with that button thing…not sure how “solid” of a port it is when it can’t be used in tournament right now. You have PS3 with input lag to top it off. If this is a solid port then I would rather have some diarrhea right now please.
And no offense to anyone, it may seem like I am bitching and wtf knows what I am talking about but 90% of the people in this thread thought PS3 had no input lag for SF4; trust me, I am not imagining things…when you do EX moves as much as I do and they come out about 80% only, there is a problem and I know it’s not just me having these issues…
yeah I do agree about the lobby button thing, when we played I was like wtf when I got skipped I thought I was readying up like you do in every other figher

That lobby interface is stupid, hence what I meant about one level of the interface being silly. It’s a very easy thing to not have happen but apparently someone overlooked it so people will now go to the back of lines, LOL…I think everyone got caught with that the first couple of times…
GGs to NeoBlood…my friend Adam was in there and he was messaging me as we were in there complaining about the EX Move problems and I didn’t say anything about it to him, lol…
Also, this game seems faster than the arcade version…not sure if that is because of the GGPO but it’s definitely faster in some capacity
G-Ram: I know the EX Moves aren’t coming out consistently online…not sure about offline, haven’t played anyone offline yet…

I don’t know about the whole 2-hit Bad Spray, sounds interesting, but still situational of when you can use it … I approve of the knife buffs … Also, thank god they fixed the overhead hit stun, that shit shouldn’t have been what it was to begin with … it was -3 ON HIT which I never understood … why would you make a move that you have to pretty much set up your opponent to get hit by be that punishable ON HIT?? However, being +3 on standing opponent means cr.short will be a 1-frame link from it, as will far st.jab …
I really, really wish they would have given him a back dash and fixed the EX Ruffian invincibility instead of some of those but, I’ll take what they gave me … I’m very curious to see just how much they increased his walk speed …

It’s possible that it’s due to the GGPO system, because on PC I’ve noticed problems with EX moves when trying to use light+heavy, I switched to using light+medium and it seemed to help.
As for the ps3 input lag, I was under the impression that it was something in how the ps3 itself runs, since AE had the same 2-frame delay.

Although I did manage to get a round off your friend after you left, got a random AA metal sphere to r.tackle then a few random tackles followed by cr.short x tackles, got him knocked down in the corner with chippable life then just a jab sphere x jab aegis… booyah.

I dunno about EX moves but I definitely can vouch for spinning bird kick loving to come out instead of super, but I’m pretty well aware this is my fault for always holding up forward after every cancel.
