It’s just a lot harder and stricter to do the 360 shortcut and 720’s in general, seems much easier to do a standing 720 though just cause it takes longer for them to leave the ground.
No shortcuts!
And anyone who intends to play KoF XIII is really going to learn the meaning of that.
OLD STYLE BITCHES!
10x: You announce your departure during the same week everyone’s trying to play 3s until they realize how dumb it is. This isn’t right. But anyway, good luck in your studies to become a shogun man.
What does this actually mean though? It needs to be input faster, or does it need more directions? I’ve been doing 6321478 for 360’s, and it only comes out half the time. The only problem with 720’s is trying to buffer them way too early.
It’s hilarious noting the huge difference in reversal windows and buffering between 3S and the more current fighters.
That’s the right input in 4 not only do you not have to go to 7 instead of 8 you have more time, in 3S you just have to do it much, much faster and make sure you ride the gate the whole time. It’s a lot tougher than 4, I can do 360’s and shit 100% in my sleep in 4 but in 3 I get it like 80% of the time you just have to do it much, much faster and make sure you hit the jab right at the end of it, if you do it too early you get an attack, too late it’s a jump.
SF4 spoils everyone into thinking you have good execution…then you play an older game and wonder wtf is going on…the “gimmick” in this game is the parries, hit confirm, and Genei Jin and unblockables with Urien, touch of death with Makoto, Ken bs, Chun Li footsies…that about explains it…but Chun will rape with 3 moves if you don’t know what is going on…
Ah, okay. I’ve been getting jumps a lot, so I need to perform them faster.
Thanks.
Thats right Sensei Mike! They dont know about this shit!
Who’s going to be at rivergate tomorrow? I may show up with monies for SF and some pinball.
GGs to JFord, what happened to your stick in that last match?
np, i’m learning more Hugo stuff along with you so if you have any questions on him or like gief shit in sf, I know you’re wanting to learn a grappler in it, hit me up
this shit …all fucking day…
Using Alex in 3s
hit me up for games people
At least it’s not the Tekken meta game…lol
GGs to everyone in 3s today, seems that Memphis really likes the grapplers. Good stuff though, it adds some variety. Woot I’m god damn impressed at your day 1 gameplay.
Yup, I know that I’ve gotten too used to just mashing in the down-forward area for a DP, but in 3s you actually have to do f, d, df, in order, with no extra inputs. Like DreamTR said SF4 leads to sloppy execution unless you purposely do all that you can to make sure you’re doing all the inputs right, but if you have the option of being a little lazier with them, why wouldn’t you?
Kinetik: They made the game like that to “ease” new players into SF4, but it’s not really the correct way to play the older games, that’s why everyone who played everything before SF4 is always a little wtf on it…
But it in turn created its own difficulty, now instead of having to make sure the move comes out, you have to make sure the RIGHT move comes out lol.
Damn, they hit the twins harder than I expected. Whatever, they’ll still be good!
Im loling hard at some of these changes like: Hakan gets oil from the start of the match
Really? lol damn they’re doing everything they can to get this guy some players.
Oh and this lil nugget:
EX Zesshou (lunge) hit distribution changed from 7/2 to 6/3, -1 on block

I dont really care about that change but his being +1 on block after that move was probably one of the biggest things I heard people complain about him. NOW HES -1!!! It will be so easy to hit him with a… or a… uhhhhhhh… demon? Or a uhhhhh… chun super?
Sorry if this is retarded but what do they mean by “hit distribution”?
