THE AE ARCADE CABINETS ARE JUST AMAZING!!! :rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::razzy: wow. makes the game 10x more fun. Plus marvel and mortal kombat? go to UP! It’s a best arcade in the east coast by far.
is mk9 broken or good? haven’t done any research on it. thank you billy for getting AE setups…really nice. i hope we support UP hardcore now. no longer having to drive to ny for a nice setup…we got the BEST SUPER AE setup!!!

For anyone who hasn’t been to UP to see the new cabs, here’s what you’re missing:
u guys need to support the UP philly scene more. those sf4 AE cabinets are just sick.
mk seems pretty good. man i am having a blast. game plays a little like tekken and vf. (who would of thought that?) just some bad ass characters and awesome graphics. who is the best in philly for mk9? comeback? demon hyo? i heard brandon was good at mk9. comeback teach me how to play if you are good. i am liking mortal kombat. couple of more patches here and there and the game could be super legit. just tone down damage on x-ray and tag mode should be the mode people use in tourney.
if someone can upload mk9 video in the next UP tourney…that would be cool. kung lao is sick in this game man!!!

Couple questions guys. What time does up open on weekdays and is it still $1 games for ae? Wanna make sure I bring enough money. Gonna try to finally head down there this week.

mk9 is really good…the combo system is straight out of tekken. its like tekken mix with vf block button and projectiles. hopefully they release the frame data for this game. they just need to patch the damage off x-ray and the game would be golden. people complain about kung lao…but he doesn’t seem too bad. his rushdown is too much fun to watch.
alot of low-high/mid mix up ala tekken. cant play stick at all…but i’ll come down wednesday hoping to see some high quality mk fights

hey kyle…me and peter had a noob mk session in his house. it was fun. not sure peter du likes the game…but it seems good.
i have very scrubby combos and scrub tactics…plus i need to fight a nasty kung lao since that dude seems impossible to beat unless with practice…(sentinel)…1,2, spin, into combo or x-ray. so nasty

everytime i went…no one is ever there. man billy probably had to cut off his arm and leg for those awesome super ae cabinets. we have the best setup in the east coast for AE!!! why aren’t people playing this? what days do you guys show up? just on friday and saturday nights?
ever since we got these sweet new cabinets…less people are going to UP now. doesn’t make sense.

hey somebody…why not do a weekly tournament ranking update for all the games? maybe then more people will show up. something the break did with tekken 6 for a little bit…like you get points and after a 3 months you get a like a piece of silver or something cool like that or costo movie tickets…
That’s been considered Jimmy. It’s hard to have that kind of consistent commitment. Perhaps when I graduate I can cook something up.
Garou night at my place next Friday night (5/20) for anyone who’s interested in playing or wanting to learn the game. I’m only 10 mins from the Sheraton Suites; right down the road from Hubbs’ place if you’ve ever been to one of his sessions.
That aside, Body Shop this Saturday featuring MK, MvC3, and BBCS2; and of course there’s UP on Sunday. Anyone going out to either? I’ll be at Body Shop for sure, but UP is a maybe depending on whether I get much sleep saturday night.
im working till 5 next friday ill talk to the jersey guys and see if i can get a ride again ill bring my ps3 with me this time too so i can set up a MK setup unless u already have that planned cuz you know me and tommahawk will be getting at it
