Sup philly. I’m new to the fighting game scene and was wondering if anyone holds any regular MvC3/SSF4 sessions. I wanna get good at Marvel 3 and playing online is not working for me.
We used to have large sessions but that day is kind of over with. There are still smaller sessions here and there but I wouldn’t expect to find them too often on this thread. The best way honestly is to come out to the local tournaments and meet everyone. There’s one this Sunday at the arcade. Go check the thread out!
Speaking of tourneys, I can bring a ps3 setup, with mvc3, super 4, and mk tomorrow
I’m working 2-9 tomorrow but I’ll try and see what I can do about coming out for the tournament
Yeah what is the deal with this? Are we allowed / encouraged to bring our own setups to play on?
at UP i think space is more of an issue than anything.
Damn I cant make it next friday. But BSN is back up and I hear if a lobby has few to no people the game is pretty good online. And if you wanna catch the train down during the week let me know we practice at johns pretty often.

SSF4 AE begins at 4:00 PM - Payout 70/20/10 $7. Winner gets free entry to Summer Jam 5 tournament of choice.
SF3: 3S begins at 5:00 PM - Free (Pot to be determined)
MvC3 begins at 4:00 PM - Payout 70/20/10 $7. Winner gets free entry to Summer Jam 5 tournament of choice.
MK9 Begins at 5:00 PM - Payout 80/20 $5
GENERAL RULES:
? $7 venue fee if you are entering any tournaments, spectators are free
? All tournaments are double elimination
? All matches are best 2 of 3 games except grand finals which is 3 of 5 games
? You may request blind pick
? Floating will occur at the discretion of the tournament director - no floating will occur past the top 16 of any tournament unless all remaining parties agree
Conduct:
? No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances allowed in the tournament area - NO EXCEPTIONS!
? Fighting will result in ejection from the tournament area

A TBD pot bonus will be divided amongst all games, even the free 3rd Strike tournament. Keep your eyes peeled for more information!
