Anybody playthrough that game Vanquish? I just bought it brand new on ebay for $12. I played the demo and the game was pretty fun. Just wondering about the rest of the game.

@ Astaroth & Grits : I’ll prob actually buy SCV. Definitely over SFxT. But I never got into SCIV really because the characters I liked either weren’t in (Hwang) or they sucked (Rock/Mina). Tira having random mood swings put me off trying to use her. Always thought Setsuka was boss but wasnt gonna do all that learning her if I wasn’t liking the game. Was learning Zas before I quit it. Might consider picking IV back up if people would even still want to play it sometimes, besides Mick. But he wouldn’t want me using Mina lol.
@ Joker & Duck: Vanquish is one of the best games you’d ever want to play. Got rave reviews but was a sleeper. I got it recently but haven’t finished it because its difficult and dividing my time between U3 Beta and NBA Jam OFE. Anyway, Vanquish is made by Platinum games, same folks that did Bayonetta and Anarchy Reigns. Sam’s suit actually looks similar to a suit a guy wears in Anarchy Reigns. Also Vanquish is called the “Ninja Gaiden” of TPS because its brutal at times. Feels kinda old school. Like a spiritual Contra almost. But its stylish as fuck and outrageous. Characters act all badass and curse for no reason. I’d recommend it to anyone and its only $17. There prob wont be a sequel though cuz guy who did Vanquish left Sega. So its a kinda big cult hit right now.

Well i work at blockbusters and i rented this game out a couple of day ago as i can rent them early. I have only put about an hour an a half into the game so far ,and i have found the controls nothing but cumbersome, no direction or guide to tell me what i should be doing or how to use the games features. I have taken my time so slowy that i only just got to some boss on a walkway and been killed and lost all my souls.
I have died about 60 times. How do you sell weapons, how do you check your weapon stats when buying a new weapon (no way to compare them???) whats my goal, why is the game so empty and hollow? why do i get stuck on bricks or tiny peices of scenery only when i fight a creature?.
I saw red after an hour and a half of pure and utter misery playing this game and i ripped it out my disc drive and chucked it against the wall so hard that it broke into about five pieces.
NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS TURD!!!
