Nah I was just talking about the serious mainstays. You and Marcus quit after that KiT tournament that I didn’t go to. And I never heard or saw y’all play it ever again. Terrence only played in that one tournament, but he still was one of the most respected online warriors afterwards.

The Vanquish one is better by default. Because it’s not a mod. The main character really runs around punching shit even though he has guns.
I used to win local Soul Edge/Calibur tournaments. Once after winning a SC3 tournament, someone came up to me and asked me for help with their game. I said “Hell if I know, I’ve been playing this game for years and I still have no clue what I’m doing. I’m seriously just mashing buttons.”

Haha, yea that’s my whole thing with Cal. I can’t tell if people are actually “good” or just mashing random moves into followup. I know a bit about the basics and vert/horizontal system, and I can sometimes see if they’re punishing or going for counters, but that’s it. I know I won more rounds by mashing like a jackass and throwing, than when I actually tried to do what I wanted. Or pick Rock, get them to edge, and try to grab->ring out. And always be the one to choose the stage. With no shame.

@Mike: Look up InsaneKhent. He plays the best Mina in the states and is a good pal of mine. Mina can actually win matches, I believe. Play who you like, just so long as you aren’t the type to blame losses on your character. Also yes, I’m still in Memphis for the moment. I’ll move one day. On the subject of Tira, she’ll always be trash so long as Project Soul penalizes her for having moves with sub-par damage. Those moves take less damage than a lot of Mitsu’s moves, apparently. Want more damage, Tira? Oh here, take some feckin’ damage. Stance change? DAMAGE. HAVE IT. If you’re character is going to take damage like this, make it worth it, kthx.

Yeah, the “chest bump” was way more ridiculous than people give it credit for. It tech crouched, tech jumped, GI’ed mids (or highs, can’t remember), and the active frames on the auto-GI was ridiculous.
And that vid is really old. I’m assuming you meant 22C after bullrush. Not sure why I wasn’t abusing it. Maybe this was before I knew the wonders of it…
No, I meant 22B. SC doesn’t have C moves. owo 22_88B looks kinda like a golf swing (not to be confused with the unblockable).

You guys think SCV will have any sort of respectable competitive scene? I’d love to hop on that. Played the shit out of III and IV… just not at a competitive level. My Siegfried wasn’t bad though, I could beat all of my friends who played the game. Granted none of us were hardcore players.
