At Akon the Udon staff was over there, and I figured I would ask who was in charge of the art this time around. I asked and they answered that they couldn’t reveal who, but it wasn’t them and everything production-wise is staying in Japan due to MvC3 being a A+++ title. Udon is only in charge of the PR stuff like advertising. :o

i feel the same way about “dormammu”. seriously, who gives a flying fuck about dormammu? anyone? can someone seriously say they are a big fan of him? he must have a big event of involvement in marvel coming up or something for them to put him in this game

Actually…I didn’t know who he was until MvC3 got announced. I hope it won’t end up being a wasted spot on the Marvel side. Green Goblin, Mephisto, Ghost Rider… would have been much more interesting imo.
You act like they put in Super Skrull instead of Green Goblin. What makes you think they can’t both be in the same game?
I always thought Super Skrull was pretty badass, if a bit underused by Marvel.
Super Skrull’s appeal is that he has so many powers and can use them all at the same time in very creative ways. Dormammu’s is kinda less, yet kinda more, since you can basically do anything with him thanks to him being a magical entity. At any rate though, he’s certainly a step up from Blackheart and Shuma Gorath.

Nope. That’s Dormammu. Ghost Rider doesn’t have shoulder pads like that, nor does he have the spikes around his flaming head. Dormammu does though, and this matches up perfectly with what was almost certainly Dormammu in the other picture.
Honestly, people shouldn’t be making this mistake anymore.

New trailer gives us a new Marvel silhoutte (sp). Looks like Spiderman.
