Ya I kno MBAA isn’t on PC, I just forgot which MB was on AC so I didn’t attempt to guess. How is the netplay? Would I be doing myself a favor trying to play it? I mean as of now I don’t know anyone who would consider playing this with me let alone anything about its scene in New York :P.

I’m pretty sure I saw a MBAA cabinet in CTF the last time I went there too. There’s bound to be a scene at NYC.

No one plays on that cab anymore since its vanilla AA iirc. But yeah, NY/NJ is the mecca of the scene in America right now, they should be holding Battle By the Gazebo (BBG)s in the near future when it warms up.
Aries no Kobayan has confirmed that Final Tuned runs on Ringwide and NOT NAOMI… i guess its finally the end of NAOMI hardware after 11 years of epicness.
NP Capps. I had a bit of trouble fitting the MBAA FT loc test AND FF2 in the thread title at first, but now I got it!
We actually archived all our shows so if you want to go back and listen to it all you gotta do is go to the website and click on whatever show you want to listen to. We did talk about FF2 and inform people about the tournament although we do plan on going into more detail about the tournament after it’s over.

Wow, that is pretty epic news. After the hassle of MBAA on Naomi (with them having to distribute the ROM patch so soon after release), I understand though.
Ringwide supports both 640x480 @ 31khz and HD output, so now I’m really curious to know if the game will have a dipswitch for widescreen/HD.

During the combos when it’s all black or all white it’s a little hard/annoying to read. I think adding an outer stroke of a different color will make this easier on the eyes.(But I don’t know if you can do it with that shitty windows movie maker) Other than that, good stuff.
I think we could really start working on a transcript of video tutorial of the basics…

I was using Camtasia as recommended by some players in #mbaa. It worked out for me really well, as I’ve never really done in-video text before. You are limited by the size of your text box, and not by a character limit imposed upon you – like Windows Movie Maker. I’ll have to take a look at the callout options and see if there’s outer stroke options to mess around with.

Yesterday I came up with this incredible idea for a combo vid (for hype/entertainment purposes only. I suck at combo innovation) and I want to include the coolest/weirdest MBAA combos in it. Not some ultra situational crap but more like corner loops and practical combos.
Feel free to suggest stuff, I just hope their not too hard for my clumsy hands.

Keep in mind that Len in all her moons is considered one of the worst characters in the game.
Also to people looking for Scenes in the states. I recommend checking Meltybread.com forum’s regionals threads as a starting point. If it doesnt look like much is there try getting on IRC to irc.mizuumi.net #mbaa. We generally use that as a means to talk rather than the forums.
