That’s true, I’m totally missing out on that awesome looking move
But in the end I guess it balances out – I love the fact that I can use 5BB anywhere I want and still move into an air combo with 6AAA. I’m also diggin’ airdash CB. That thing does miracles for high / low games in the corner, lol.
So I did a funny thing the other night while playing my buddy. He was Tohno Shiki and I was Ryougi Shiki, and he tried to pull his pale imitation of an arc drive finish on me and I jumped up, backdashed, and then threw him while he was still doing the animation
F-Aoko is really simple, but she also got a lot of nerfs from arcade -> console.
Some of the changes make sense (like making j.623b blockable in the air and removing invulnerability), but others are rather bogus. For example:
[] Added damage scaling on 236b (80%)
[] Changed damage scaling on 623a from 90% to 70%

Removed invulnerability on 236c after super flash (this change really huuurts)
Not sure why these nerfs were added, since F-Aoko was generally considered middle of the pack to begin with…
Unless he changed is avatar, it looks like that girl from Kanon’s Eternal Fighter Zero sprite (the one who is always sleeping). Looks specifically like her crouching animation if I remember correctly.
Also, I have no idea if you are being sarcastic or what so I just answered.
Yeah, it’s just that 95% of our community never got the chance to play MBAA to begin with so the need to cross check changes to said version ended up being not as important I suppose.
Before MBAA came out on console, no one really played MBAA and after NEC9 MBAC pretty much died in the US (It was on life support after EVO 08). West Coast had Ver.A, but it was neglected most of time and was a waiting area to play GG/BB/SF4. Texas also had Ver.A but no one really plays in Texas and CTF had broken buttons that was never fixed, $1 to play, and it wasn’t even Ver.A so they never really played it either so from the time MBAA first came out on console last year to it being released on console, no one really gave a fuck about MB for the most part.
For the most part we’re just now getting into the swing of things. If you listened to our “radio stream” you would hear people like LordKnight, Spooky, XAQShinor, Myself, Silent Shinobi breakdown general gameplay and character specific shit down so you cant really say we’re not organized. We’re just trying to play catch-up again if anything :\
Well, like Brandon said, we have alot of catching up to do. Alot. Things are going to be helter skelter for a while until we really settle down with this game past a major or two. Just wait until NEC, things will be alot more evident then.
