But going back to dj_de and Brandino’s posts, I just get sick of seeing 2AAAA Counter Hit (me being countered) when I try to do 5B. What it’s gonna have to come down to is going into Training Mode, recording the dummy doing 2AAAAAA etc. on wake up, and just test that shit. It’s hard to teach someone how to play when I am still getting beat by dumb shit :looney:
Time your meaties better. No really, if you’re getting 2A’d when you do a 5B you’re mis-timing your meaty. Same rule applied in AC except it’s harder to fuck up a meaty now with the new super armor BS.
I had to read the part in bold over to get what you were saying lol. But yeah, I definitely need to just go to training mode and learn the correct timing then.
From my experience, better players don’t mash 2A on wake up anyways. It’s kind of like Guilty Gear where the lesser players mash throw on wake up, but the better players don’t because they respect proper okizeme.

I’m in the process of building a scene (?) for MBAA here in Columbus,OH and I wanna try my best to make sure that I can teach people how to play and hopefully make them interested in actually learning. I don’t think I can do that, however, if I can’t beat simple mashing :sad:
I totally understand what you’re saying though. I’ve been running it through my head. I would much rather get guard crushed, crossed up, and flat-out steamrolled than to miss an opportunity to punish opponents on their wake-up just because I lack understanding of meaty timing. That would give me incentive to get better and help me to stay hungry more so than 2AAAAA Counter Hit lol. But in hindsight it’s my own damn fault.
And the leveling up begins once again
