Meaty jab beats all kinds of reversals since it recovers in time to block, like messiah, exsbk, rog headbutt. You gotta time the meaty perfect though. Not recommended online. If they don’t do the move then the jab will hit them so you can’t be thrown or whatever.
I have to agree that ryu is 5/5, ryu beats gouki when both players are standing due to life advantage and his super is a big deal in this matchup, but if ryu gets knocked down he might lose the whole round right there.

Ok lemme clarify.
Sagat NEEDS to have mastered Kara specials. This way he can cover Akuma’s options when jumps into the air. This makes air fb’s super risky on Akuma’s part since anytime he does them, it’s pretty much free damage for Sagat.
In this case…it MIGHT be even.
Then it’s even. That’s like saying if the Sagat user sucks a little bit then it’s 6-4 Akuma.

There is only one thing about him that I don’t like and I explained why. I think my reasoning is pretty legit actually. And I’m not the only one who has issue with it.
I almost think out of the top three it goes something like this
Sagat has an edge on Ryu
Ryu has an edge on Akuma
Akuma has an edge on Sagat
That being said though all of these are close matches and basically comes down to the skill of the players more often than not.
The teleport is actually a sense of false security IMO. Because if you get caught red handed it is just as bad as whiffing an SRK. It is a tool that needs just as much care in its use as any other.

Sometimes playing against Sagat reminds me of when you’re competing against a random, less attractive stranger for the affection of a voluptuous, sexy young woman(with golden brown skin and a fat booty). So you see the girl at a barbeque and you notice the stranger sees her too.
So you get at the girl and it’s raining outside but your swag is on fire so you’re dry right now and you’re feeling yourself(sagat is gay and he’s the rain but you’re outplaying him for real). So it goes good and you start massaging the girl and feelin up on her but she’s not feeling it(Sagat has mad stamina so u gotta work hard for the kill ya dig).
So you’re doing your thing and you think she’s about to take you back to the hotel, but then the ugly stranger from earlier has gathered his courage(2 bars of ex and ultra) so he turns up his collar to activate his swag and runs at the girl clumsily and trips and fall into a puddle(tiger uppercut) from the rain and the water splashes on the girl(fadc) and gets on her panties(f+hk, ultra) and it makes her get aroused so she ignores you and has sex with him(you lose)
