“Mines” on hiatus until Feb 22nd. Finalizing Marvel Room search after finding far cheaper hotels up our way, which means a dual room setup is looking good at the moment. Still have the Sheraton rez just in case, but after calling them to get the room dimensions it isn’t worth the money. Should have everything wrapped up by next Monday with final details.

Me perosnally? HA! Im sure I am not the only one who would enjoy an AE set up. As for BB, Lets just say Im 99.99999999999% Just take my word on this. The idea i believe is to maybe use other games as a stepping stone (which i respect) to test the grounds of the fighting community, plus teh games rob legit like 9 K cheaper hahahaha. But yeah sources also inform me it will be single can similiarly to the old MVC2 machines, no deffinate on whether it will be HD, but im thinking it will be!
As for the marvel room, im excited! 
I hope that its gonna b eas hype as i feel its going to be! If i am able to (and im working on it frequently) able to get an early copy i will let you all know individually…

has anyone talked to the arcade people about the bb cab, to make sure it has the right button layout and shit, and not a standing cab. i’m all for them having a bb cab, but if it’s going to have some assy button layout, american parts, and be a standing cab, it’s not going to be fun to play on and i honestly thing that would lose them a lot of business.
So what you’re saying is is that it’s going to be a ghetto rigged PS3/XBOX360 in a frankenstein American cabinet with a coin mech? or a BlazBlue Continuum Shift II (the one that isn’t on console).
I’d feel bad if they spent a buncha time and money if it’s the first one because it’ll be a waste
LOL, I am glad your excited. It will only be fun if people are genuinely hype for the game itself and of course choose to show up =p. The room doesn’t matter, neither does the location. The excitement just has to be real:nunchuck:
With that said I want it to be great for you guys that are coming, yet constructive for those trying to learn the game and be competitive in it. With suggestions from Kraig, we came up with a couple of traditional ideas for how the days should be structured:
Friday 18th:
Free-Play. Get those teams/counter teams ready to rock: So that means setups, execution, broken shit, etc. and get ready for Saturday…
Saturday 19th:
Thinking about running a couple $1 tournaments (numbers dependent) and a 2v2 tournament(again numbers dependent). The game seems easy to pick up unlike MvC2 and all starting at ground zero so this could be really good. We also as a community don’t MM for whatever reason so I want to break the walls down on that shit while we are all new to this game.
Lastly a small ranbat, that could extend to Salt Mines weekly making it a relevant gathering again. To add to that Alex has streaming equipment so when Salt Mines returns Feb. 22nd, we can stream the Ranbat matches.
Sunday 20th:
Chill, more ranbats (if they are successful and peeps care).
All of this of course hinges on people actually liking MvC3 enough to continue learning it so take all of the ideas with a grain of salt. Esoecially if half the people end up running back to SSF4. What I don’t want is just casuals the whole time which was the mistake we made with SSF4. Let’s put some dinero on the table and have some fun and get serious!

On a side note for those that missed it, I am actively looking to move the event closer to us (NH, Lowell, Chelmsford areas). It’s cheaper (for me yay!!), and better for the travel of our players. We also won’t have to pay for parking if any choose to go and come.
Again stay tuned to final details on Monday evening for the hotel of choice, and room space (so we can plan setups, head count, how many can stay over etc). I’ll be having a phone-a-thon this weekend asking about sq ft since we need a good amount of space. Potential to do this again if everyone has a good time.:china:
you can’t get cs2 outside of japan due to the nescia system. i personally wouldnt mind a cs1 cab or even calamity trigger, i like playing all of them, as long as it’s legit japanese style.
Hey Guys, Adam here. Finally am on-line (PWAFighter). I created a new thread on the Atlantic North forum. Please feel free to post there issues you are seeing (be specific) and what you would like to see.
We are looking at new games to be put out on the floor and I am trying to pull some strings on additional games (including SSF4).
I have been reviewing the board and have seen some of the wish list people would like to see at the PWA. What I need from the community is continued turnout (which has been great so far and I thank you all). The more activity I can show on the fighters the better push I have for getting the games you want to see (including games like SSF4).
Again my goal is to foster a location spot for the fighting community as well as a place to hold some tournaments (with some cool prizes as well).
Throughout the week I am doing evening repairs on the system and am around during the weekends (carrying the yellow toolbox :)). Come on by, would love to play a few rounds and let make the PWA a great destination sport for the fighting community.
