Yo, I thought snow this morning was going to give way to a partly cloudy day in the afternoon. Unblockable, unsmockable. still gotta set it up (which has the potential to not be that hard in this game–oof!). And, laurence, I play grappler characters, I love the corner. Feel totally comfortable in there thanks to be repeatedly locked down in BB and then turning the tide and stealing the match.

I am keeping track on my weatherbug app lol. We are suppose to be getting heavy snow this evening that was suppose to come Wednesday. Looks like GU cancelled for similar reasons.
BB and Super Down Back Fighter 4 allow various defense options that allow you to turn the tide of battle suck as bursting and that counter attack that is seldom used in BB (fwd a+b I believe) and Barrier gaurd.
There is a reason why ClockWork Strider Doom lockdown was so effective. In this game its been reported you can cancel blockstun into X-Factor, which grants invincble frames for a super right after, but using X-Factor early seems to be a bad strategy since its the only real comeback mechanic the game has to offer. Plus you can only do it once. And with no Back dash to dunk shennanigans, no bursting, no IB tricks I can assure you being in the corner will not be “comfortable.” I’ll show you on the 18th:china:
A few of the vids that have come out (Capcom Suite and 1up) showing unblockables already seem kinda cheap and easy to set up once you have the timing down. Apparently having the game being so accessible (ala SF4 et al) took out the steep MvC2 learning curve so it’ll be easy for even novice players to setup with minimal effort. Keep away seems pretty strong though!
heyy, I’ve been meaning to post this every since Thursday or Friday last week. But I was at the arcade and Adam from Pinball Wizard has been trying to get on SRK just to communicate with the fighting game community but I think because he’s a new signup on srk he can’t post on the North Atlantic threads year or something… either way! He said any issues you have on the fighting game cabs, be specific. He’s read things like, “SNK Cab is broken.” and he wonders which of the SNK cabs that actually is!
Either way, be specific if you run into any issues at the arcade. I hope he gets access to these threads soon, maybe start a PWA thread where he can make announcements or whatever!

Thanks for the info Tom, I left a pretty detailed write up for him regarding the SNK cab the first night I went there maybe a week ago mentioning the specific games in that cab in question. Guess he didnt receive the message:sad: It’s really cool that he wants to be this proactive though! Maybe we can make a thread for him if he wants to post up ideas, maintenance reports and game requests for him to look into?

Not sure if your joking around or not, but you do have my number if you wanted to get a more immediate update. Can’t always post up on the forums after all. Anyway my apologies to all for the inconvenience its getting increasingly harder to make Mines happen regularly with weather and general life happenings. I completely screwed up this one though so my bad, hopefully people made it out to Kraigs.
Its become more apparent that we do need someone else to step up and provide a “Plan B” of sorts since Mines is inconsistent and we all need to play regularly. That way there isn’t pressure to make it happen weekly for me and everyone can feel good about having another option to get their fix without complaint. The married guy with the small apartment can’t possibly be the only one capable of providing a semi-consistent place to play (hopefully that’s true).
Wigz I think you gotta wait for the DLC but i’ll check since I got the collectors myself.
