Agreed, I don’t think there is a formula that works to appease hardcore and casual alike, but if SSF4 continues to be the number 1 game after 2011 it’ll be the first. Marvel will suck if it turns into a zone fest, otherwise feel free to punch that ticket to Marvel City, there’s a room waiting for you.
choooo choooo! riding dat hype train into the new year. can’t wait to hear details about this. i’m super theory fighting matchups already based on the super small amount of video we’ve seen so far. Also, i’m upset at capcom cause at this point, that game is already done development. It must be getting tested by sony and microsoft, going gold, and getting sent to distribution really soon. No reason why we haven’t had more reports for the other characters in, at least, a near-final build when the game is a month and a half out.

Indeed. Ok peeps we will be having the “Marvel Room” at the Sheraton Boston hotel. I reserved one of their biggest suites and will have a link for you to view soon. I am still looking into a condo rental since the pricing is really close and I think we may get more room to maneuver, but for now it is Sheraton Boston, get HYYYYYPPPPEEEE!!!

That’s like saying because your not black you can’t enjoy fried chicken…although that may be true give it a shot. There will be Super setups if you bring your own, this is the “Marvel Room.” I also said that there will be breaks for other games since no one knows how good Marvel will be.
Marvel first everything else second. Now that the date and place are solid please let me know who can bring a setup. I think 5 will be a good place to be. 3 marvel setups atleast, then one for BB and 1 SSF4. That’s if we have around 10-12 people coming.

LOL! yep its Friday 18th-20th, so that weekend. Figured it would be wise to give everyone a chance to get a few teams going so that by weekend peeps can hit the ground running with some good matches, not just learning the movesets.
All NH players of course are welcome and expected to show at least for a little bit, and once I have a sense for head count ill extend the invite to some of the Mass players we are familiar with since it could get out of hand with an open invite.:looney:

I can go tomorrow. I’ll bring my ps3, ssf4, bb, and maybe some jam (i played it recently with my hrap v3… it was sweet once i got used to it) if needed. i’ve been inundated with work recently from all sides (both actual work and class and column and and and and) so i’m looking forward to some games tomorrow. Also, i’ll be back in my hotel in lowell started next monday for the rest of the january.
