The law is stupid to the maximum degree.
As much as I hate the concepts of hate crimes and hate speech, I’m glad that now people are finally beginning to apply them equitably. Either apply them to everyone or no one at all(which I’d actually prefer).
Black people do it = game
White people do it = racial hate crime violence
should punish these kids like how they punish thieves in the middle east. cut off their hands.

He made the TV news, having some sermon/event recorded and played back*, speaking out against this, agreeing that it is being crazy and not a game in any capacity.
To say that he wasn’t being interviewed by the TV news people or anything like in a live interview just sitting on his ass only doing that and not being proactive.
but he’s really no different than any other policitian trying to get ahead and on one of those interviews didn’t he lean over to some guy, expecting the cameras to be off and stopped recording and have some stupid racial comments about Obama, err nevermind. that’s a dumb reflection remembering by me I can just look up if that was him or somebody else. & you can look up if he’s trying to help on this issue.
This should be what that “tried as an adult” is for if there ever was any good application of that, when you always hear that phrase and stipulation not working out for justice.

I’m happy blacks are finally getting prosecuted for being racist assholes. I wondered for the longest time what world some people live in where they believe blacks can’t be racist.
So, back in 1989 in New York, some White woman got raped in Central Park by a group of Black teens, who had gone out with the intention to do so- that’s where “wilding” got it’s name. It was a trend where groups of Black kids roll around looking to attack White people.

It was a huge news story, and the term wilding made it’s way into popular culture, like the “Knockout Game” etc is doing now. The Black teenagers in the Central Park case were convicted, and spent between 7 and 13 years in prison.
The problem, however, is that the entire wilding thing was fake. They were a bunch of random, unconnected incidents, but strung together to create the illusion of a trend. It was the product of hysteria and media hype, and the confessions of the teens in question were forced- they would later be exonerated after serving their entire prison sentences, when the real rapist confessed many, many, many years later. But many more people remember the case and the hype than the fact that it was BS.
I bring this up, obviously, because the talk about the Knockout Game seems hysterical in much the same way. My 2 cents.

I think it’s just a sad state of affairs when the youth are so disillusioned with the society they live in that they go to such lengths to rebel against it. This shit’s like the real life version of Clockwork orange. And it’s only going to get worse.

Concerning some semi-recent story of an Australian guy? In America on vacation/leave/schooling. 3 “kids” murdered somebody here for no discernible reason.
Since I don’t remember that one with a link to follow, white kids consider smashing mailboxes with bats driving by on the back of a pickup truck, pipebombs for that or trashcans in schools, and school shootings “a game.”
Or course pushing the angle of “videogames made me do it” have been used as defenses now for actual sociopath kinda people on trial.
I suppose the difference is actual evidence of the dumbasses “playing” knockout/happy slapping is being recorded by them themselves filming it and then uploaded to show off because a lot of people think the internet is a place where only your friends can see what you are doing.
I mean I guess there could be some evil media conspiricy against the youth where people are being payed to film themselves doing this, but somehow I doubt it just a little bit, especially when internet fads spread so quickly these days.
People are uploading videos of assaults, and they’re being pushed into the “knockout game” category after the fact. You can actually still find videos and news stories about people “wilding”, too, even though the crux of that case turned out to be a hoax, because it was an urban legend which was adopted into popular culture.
There have been a bunch of spree shootings in the news over the past several years- that doesn’t mean that there’s some sort of racially-motivated “Shooting Game” going on. And if someone were to make that claim, it would require them to have some sort of evidence greater than the fact that people have been random people shot by random assailants.
It’s not really a conspiracy, as much as it’s fact that the media can play with the emotions of people sometimes effectively damage people for the worst. A lot people would have look at Trayvon and Zimmerman objectively if it wasn’t a race war. We wouldn’t see a White Man in angry bop a elder black man dude if that white man didn’t realize knockout game isn’t a racially motivated agenda.
