I pretty much agree with everything Jive Turkey Jones has said concerning this subject.
That and I just dont think there’s enough girls really. Certainly not enough who game for serious. We have a ton of attention whores running about here lately, and I’m sure they’d love to the lust object of every 13 yr old on SRK, but I really think if you did something like that, it should be of the serious chicas. I’ve basically stopped playing all together. Just too much to do. I’m trying to start my own Ebay business and find a job at the same time. Plus, action photos of gaming would have trouble…um, showing action. Almost every photo of people gaming shows the same thing…both opponents staring straight ahead, paying attention to the game. As it should be. But page after page of that is kinda boring after a while, because you can practically interchange all the people in the photo and still basically have the same photo.
Besides, any calendar I would ever do would be vintage pin-up like the Vargas or Evergreen girls. That would be fun! I honestly see that sort of thing as reviving a lost art form. Its so artsy, its almost beyong sexual.
I just think that any calendar done for SRK would also be taken too serious by the male gamers. If it were something like we all dressed up in cat suits and posed next to our favorite Disney characters, then Id do it! Me and Ang could pose next to Donald Duck! He’s a sexy little guy. But a serious calendar just wouldnt be all that fun, and as others have pointed out, some of the guys on here are a little…um…odd. Its more trouble than its worth, and it doesnt quite jive with my principles. I was against the “Girls of KU” calendar. I honestly felt it contributed nothing to our school, and just wasnt classy. Pin-ups and cat costumes next to Disney characters are CLASSY!
Ang: I know! The board governing KU basically said that Sen. Wagle had NO GROUNDS WHATSOEVER for her accusations! That all the matierals used were sound and CREATED for educational purposes, that he showed no evidence of advocating pedophiles, and that out of over a thousand students, only 3 had ever given him a bad rating or had a problem with the class, including Jessica Zahn. And the board pointed out the same thing I did : the movie days are on the freakin syllabus and are optional!!! Dumb shit. I’m sure Zahn thought she was going to make all sorts of money and Wagle thought she was going to get publicity and political backing, but now they both look like idiots. Now Zahn’s pretty much the laughing stock of KU.
I dont see the purpose of Wagle even trying to pass THAT provison…that already have policies concerning those sort of things. Wagle is dumb as a rock and not half as friendly.
The regional idea sounds good to me. And it’s good to see that Direness9 would do it as long as it’s classy.

A lot of us girls only post our pictures because we are well-known SRK members(Goukigirl2002 & I have
been here since 2001, so why not?), we don’t want to be mistaked as guys(like i always am), and other reasons…
