I just made mine on Adobe and set the pic to SRK’s max allowed pixel measurements. I screwed up on the wording tho, it was supposed to be bigger so you could read " C is for cookie…" But yeah, you should try Tag-Moneky or something for ones that move or look better. Its about time for me to make a new one I think. I’ve got ton of pin-up pics I want to avatar-ize.
Taco- I checked out the dress, it was adorable. Im so in love with puffy sleeves. I found a sailor dress with them (like it almost looks uniformish except for the fullness of the skirt and high waist line) and its too much fun. Im still deciding wither I want to sell it on Ebay on not, I know itd sell for at least 30-35 and I only paid 5 for it. Ive some other stuff I need to put up that I bought and it didnt quite fit 
too big. Ah, well.
I got some time the other day to play some Project Justice. The boyf and his roomies have been playing it quite alot lately, so inbetween math assignments Ive been playing. Everyone’s right, its not that GOOD of a game, but its a FUN game. Which reminds me, I have a math assign, japanese assign and paper to do before tomorrow. Will I ever get a goddamn break?! ARRRGGGGHHHH!!! I guess I just need to deligate my time better and do the assignments RIGHT after I get them, but after running about on campus all day, you just want to come home and chill for awhile you know? I need to get a PT job soon too sigh my accounts starting to look a little low and its only Sept… Thank god for the boyf, otherwise Id never get anything done.

interesting work day yesterday
i met a very unusual customer last night at work. first he looks at me and asks me if I’m Potawatami; I tell him no I’m Choctaw; then he starts telling me about this geneology research trip he just completed in the lower South (mostly Alabama, Mississippi and Florida) It’s pretty common knowledge among the Muscogean tribes that we all came from the same place; Choctaw, Chickasaw, Seminole and Creek at one time all spoke the same language. Of course nowadays each tribe has their own interpretations of the language and the gene pool itself has become a lot thinner over the years. The customer leaves for an hour or so and then returns to the store with 3 objects; 2 pieces of pine bark from the area where he visited in Florida and a huge mother of pearl shell from a freshwater creek near Choctaw Bay. We continue our discussion about geneology and history for a while and then this guy gives me these 3 objects. I never learned his name or his family name, nor he, mine.
D9 has this ever happened to you? This is definitely a first for me and for the moment I’m taking it as a good sign…highly unusual, but a good one nonetheless; especially for my neighborhood.

The other day I just thought of something…since you have a pin-up girl collection, a Rosie the Riveter avatar wouldn’t be that bad. It just seems like something you’d do:cool:. IN case you don’t know who she is…she’s the woman from the WW2 drawing shown flexing a muscle. I think that’s about right. Anyway, it just crossed my mind.

Also, I pmed Angie about this but I’ve got a project for school for a journalism class that I’m doing on female characters in videogames. Satomi, I’ve been trying to put up another post on that thread but SRK keeps acting up today. I’ll be lucky if this one makes it with no other error messages. I’m also being cut offline sometime today (fuckin bills) anyways the discussion on that thread seems to be going in circles like so many others. The ones who are trying to teach are being ignored by apathetic losers who’ve been plugged into their pc-worlds for far too long. Reality it seems hasn’t even knocked on their doors yet. For those that actually believe racism and hatred does NOT exist I’m not sure whether I should pity them or envy them. But at any rate, the lame attempts by the masses here on these boards to exercise any kind of humor/shock/bullshit within these kinds of intelligent/serious discussions is exhausting and pathetic. There will always be those individuals who believe that just because they don’t don the white sheets or nazi uniforms that they are NOT racist.
Also, not all Native Americans were relocated to reservations. My tribe was relocated to Oklahoma. Choctaws were split into 2 bands; Oklahoma and Mississppi Choctaws. Those that remained are either on a small rez in Philadelphia MS or living on their own in that state or close by. Those like my great grandmother were moved to Oklahoma and were given alloted lands (160 acres each) Angie Debo wrote in her book (The Rise and Fall of the Choctaw Nation) that some white landowners in Oklahoma (sooners) “adopted” choctaw children on paper so that they could get that extra 160 acres for themselves. Ms. Debo was also in her late 60s or 70s when the book was finally published because of oklahoma politics; at the time of her research for the book this “adoption-theft” was still going on and went as far up as the government of oklahoma. She was often followed and threatened and no one would publish her book for fear of retaliation and blacklisting by those in power.
There’s another book I’d like you to check into sometime called “Custer Died for Your Sins” by Vine DeLoria. This was written back in the 70s, so some of the information is a bit dated, but it’s still a good read, and many of the ideas expressed are still held on to today by many individuals, both traditional and non.

Oh yeah, I kno all about her imagery. Swing girls will dress up like her in overalls and kercheifs sometimes, and my grandmother was a “Rosie the Rivetter”. If I remember correctly, she was barely breaking 5’0" tall, 100 lbs, and she was making ammunitions and riveting in various WWII factories in Kansas. I’d have to ask my dad for the specifics, I could be wrong about the rivetting. It is a pretty good idea for an avatar, tho I thought I actually saw a guy running around with her on his.
Keeping busy as usual peeps. I should be writing a paper at this moment, but instead Im taking a break and surfing ebay. I get to go temp job hunting tomorrow (oh boy!) and if all else fails, I’m looking into working at a local coffee shop for an asshole jerkoff bitch of an owner who has a stick permanent stuck up his wazzo. His shop is pretty much my last ditch option. But I’d get to wear whatever fun clothes I wanted, learn to make coffee, tend a store, play with construction paper and glue, and make new friends, all while looking like a supremely cool down-townie. ( A person who works downtown and is a member of the exclusive “Im a sad, stuck up emo kid” club) And put up with the owner. Oh course my pay would be shit, but eh, at this point, Im willing to take on any job except McDonalds. Im so depressed - I only have enough money for one more semester of college, if that. I think Im going to go out and buy 50 lotto tickets and choke myself on them. I think it would be a great death to report in the newspaper.
