Hey Unknown, long time no see!
You guys are even lucky to HAVE an arcade at your school!! KU sucks assssssssss… its so student unfriendly it aint even funny. This entire Thurs Im going to have to stand in line to add W. Civ and drop gymnastics. We dont have online enrollment at all and it was just this past year that we could even check open/closed classes online. They honestly dont give a fuck about their students. If it werent practically in my backyard, I wouldnt be going there.
My Japanese class is INSANE!!! I have to learn 50 hiragana by Fri at 1:30. Its a 30 second test. Each hiragana is worth 2 pts, so if I only recognize 30 out of 50, I get 60% on this first test. They started teaching us this Monday. AGGGGGHHHHHH!!! :eek: I like my Women’s Studies class though. Its pretty cool and we have a really diverse group of chicks and its not overly FemiNazish. I was kinda afraid it would be all “GIRL POWER!!!” and “KILL MEN!!” but everythings done really intelligently.
I love Missy Elliot right now, she’s much cooler than I used to think.

oh, one more thing…Sept. 6-8th is the Westport Art Fair; I’m not in it this year but I’m going to go see the works there…perhaps something will inspire me, most artists work do. good luck to your sister this weekend at the pow-wow too.

I couldnt get the font right for some reason on Adobe, but she’s saying “C is for Cookie…” I love my pin-up girl collection! I think Im going to sneak in more of them into my AV’s. Someday I’m going to break my “NO PICTURES!” rule and play dress up and take pin-up pics of my friends and I in all our vintage dresses and hats. I’'m even thinking about getting some garters and girdles, etc. If I end up doing that I’ll have to send you copies of the pics.
I am pleased to say that my little sister got Pow-Wow Princess! I have rarely seen her so happy in my life. I have alot of work to do with her. Through out the entire night I kept telling her “Straighten up! Don’t talk so much! Smile! Head up!” I was mostly teasing her but she does need to work on her posture and her speaking presence. Even Ben got out and danced during the Street Exhibition. He totally floored me with that considering all night I’d been trying to get him out during Inter-tribal and he’d been refusing to. It was a beautiful crowning ceremony. Like Dad said tho, now the REAL work begins. Boy, I’ll have to send you an email on some other stuff tho. Hey, are you going to the Haskell Art show coming up?
OMG, this Japanese class is so hard! Its not structured at all to TEACH anything, its more to throw bits and pieces at you while you try to duck! Im going to die! Its going to ruin my GPA!! AGGGHHHHH!!!

Oklahoma was just hotter then hell; I know I lost at least 10 lbs. from sweating, just walking around outside at the arts & crafts booths. I didn’t find the fetish beads I really wanted but picked up some other cool things. Got to see my maternal grandfather’s side of the family at the reunion; they’re a weird bunch, but family just the same.
I’ve now come to the conclusion that I can only stand to be around distant relatives for small amounts of time (esp. during the summertime)
either that or I’m getting really irritable in my old age :lol:

Hey peeps, wassup? I havent been on because Ive been so busy, I really shouldnt be on now cause I have a paper to write and I lost the article I needed. You know, Feminism = blahhhh… The whole movement should be really called Humanism or Gender Study since we’re fighting for everybody else’s rights besides just that of women in general. The world ‘feminist’ is out dated. Now theyre labeling the new bunch “postfeminist”, but it seems like the postfeminist are a bunch of twits. Anyhoo, back to the coal mines…
I would just like to give props to all you girl SF players. Until two nights ago I had never played a “real” female Street Fighter player and then I got handed back to back losses in 3rd Strike. I guess guys underestimate the ladies sometimes and they really shouldn’t because I took a beating.
i have never played a good female in mvc2 yet. there were some that knew combos but that was it. where the hell do u people play? anyone on the eastcoast??nyc??
