Such a shame this game didn’t get as much attention that it deserved…
My Friends and I still play this game. SDBZ is the only DBZ game that should be mentioned.
What’s wrong with B3 and SBAR??
Another Juan Fra combo video:
Shoryuken - PS2 - Super Dragon Ball Z - Combo Video 1
This video has more mid-screen combos. It’s about 8 minutes long and includes combos for MOST characters.
There is an awesome Cyber Freiza combo at 2:20.
Thanks to Spootz for posting them in the media library here.
No problem. Next time, if you want to post your own video, then just go to the media section and at the bottom of the page there is a box where you can put in the YouTube URL. It’s really easy.
Quick question for anyone really:
Is it better for Android 16 to have Attack Up or Increased Ground Speed? With Attack Up your going to get the boost even when in the air, but much of Android 16’s game is on the ground where he is really slow and he could benefit from Increased Ground Speed.
I had posted a link at the Video releases + commentary thread, and never bothered to look at the media section.
With A16 you’re better off picking Atk Up. If you want speed you’ll pick Speed Mode, since with it on he turns into the fastest character.
It depends on what kind of 16 you’re going to be. If you see your having trouble getting in then the Speed would be the viable option. It also helps to curb his one weakness of him being slow as hell. But Attack Up just makes 16 a lot more dangerous once he gets in. I’d personally play around with both and see what fits you. That’'s what I do when I’m unsure about a skill.
Wowwww this thread is so throwback lol. What made you wanna phoenix down…Im supposin u mustve popped this in randomly sometime recently. Good times.
Seems even here, SDBZ fans are rare and few. :wonder:
Friends and I still playing this game. 7yrs Strong
no love?
Budokai 3 is the best DBZ fighter, minimum fan service and it’s just as competitive as Super DBZ. And stfu you Capcom fanboys this game is the real deal.
^have u played sdbz?
I’ve played better Capcom fighters so why would I bother with a shittier version? On top of that the game is ugly looking.
Explain away how budokai 3 is better with out using roster size as part of your arguement.
Second, you don’t know the people that made super dbz and what role they had before it.
Nor do I care, I don’t think I can convince any Capcom fanboys out here. Have you ever played B3 past the button mashing level? I’d like to know who i’m talking to.
For exemple, why is Trunks considered one of the most technical char in the game?
yea i can see u never played sdbz. so any comment you say is irrelevant.
Or here’s an idea – don’t compare Budokai 3/Infinite World to SDBZ.
Yeah, they’re both DBZ fighting games, but that’s pretty much where the similarity ends.
B3 and IW are games that are heavily dependent on meter and meter management – your character’s baseline meter, potential meter, your options with meter and how it all plays into the fundamental mindgame surrounding B3/IW. How much meter will my combo build? How much meter will my combo give to my opponent? Will they have enough meter to teleport counter my combo before I can end it? Will I have enough meter to counter that in case it happens?
SDBZ, on the other hand, is very different to B3/IW. The game demanded players have excellent fundamentals as well as game-specific knowledge, such as the enormous number of potential matchups due to the Skill system, as well as the Action gauge, which controlled everything movement in the game.
Personally, I prefer SDBZ to B3/IW. That’s not to say I dislike B3/IW, I just like SDBZ better because I feel that B3/IW has too much fluff that inhibits the game from being truly remarkable as a competitive fighter.
