I just mean they let you air combo off jabs, and yes that’s endive.
Chatting to Neo DX90, the timing on those attacks are really awkward.
For Goku, you have to delay the last H like if had some sort of “clean hit” propriety.
And for trunks, I’m still a little confused on how his work. Everytime I get it (which is rare), I really don’t understand how I actually got it or what I’m looking for.
Bleh… keep practicing I suppose.
I’m interested in learning Goku, not so much trunks just to mess around really. But of course, my main is No. 17 ;p
Late Edit: Actually, I got one more question.
Why can’t you have 8 slots filled up in the console version like in the arcade?
bump
there are 8 slots for each character the ones you don’t see you have to fill with inherited skills if i’m correct
Eh? You sure about this?
When you inherit a move it gives you an extra slot for that move, however if you inherit a ability its replaced with the ability that you were given from the Dragon (or whatever fits the same-type of ability).
if it’s the same type of ability it takes the slot of the previous inherited skill however if it doesn’t it will just simply make another slot for you…i think we talked about this earlier in the thread
In the u.s. version you aren’t able to use the 8th spot. Cell can maybe dunno, haven’t played in a while but I think Cell is the only one with a tree long enough where he gets 6 skills by the end (or 5) and then two inherited.
You can have 8 in the arcade v. though
are you sure?..i was sure there was some way…eh…i guess maybe the reason for that is cause they already added some of the moves to the characters from the start perhaps?..i thought for sure there was some way of filling up 8 slots but eh…whatever i suppose
I don’t like that I think it would have been recieved better if all characters could carry eight. I’m hyped about the corpus christi tourney though. I wish I could’ve got my tournaments off the ground. But school is here once again so I need to set up when everybodys available.
yeah, I’m also interested to see how that turns tourney ends up. I’d like to through something together as well, but my local Super DBZ scene is a whopping four people, heh.
yyyeah…lets not talk about the scene around here…>.> which is why i give you guys who are gonna throw tourneys support. Hoping it will generate more interest in the game.
The only reason its getting even some small attention is because I asked a bunch of my friends to jump in and ask for Super DBZ, lol ;p
Perty much, the plan is to find a tournament thats in a decent location and try to get a Super DBZ tourny going at least on the side. Hopefully I can petition enough people to enter, if so then a scene may actually start =o
BTW: We are using the American version… however…
Hold up, so in the Jap version can you get 8 slots? I thought nothing was different from the Jap vs American gameplay-wise.
I think somewhere in this thread the PAL (jap) version is better because of certain move properties. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong.
I remember someone telling me that they thought that was true, but later found out that the American version and the Jap version are all the same.
They are the same. Just the music is different. You need to get certain techniques for some of the properties. The 8 slot thing is just for the arcade version thats it. No matter if its jap or usa.
good.
Played my friend a bit this weekend and asked piccolo would he at least use lube this time and he denied me any sort let up. My poor Trunks was left in shambles lol i’m gonna have to do more practicing. I’m gonna have to check out those vids later.
I have a question: What is the skill that gives you super cancels, and how do you get it? I have my custom Trunks and Gohan down otherwise, but I need that skill first.
Super cancel is at the end of Gohan’s skill tree. Vegeta Cell and Buu also have it.
