There’s a Halo comic out today. Normally I couldn’t care less but the creative teams Bendis and Maleev (Daredevil). I gotta check it out for that reason alone.
Halo always had a decent story. It’ll be interesting to see what those guys do with it.

McKeever’s run on Teen Titans starts this week. Gonna pick it up and see if he can handle it.

Just read the final issue of Silver Surfer: Requiem (I get to read them the day before they come out - I work in a comic shop) and WOW! It’s a good thing Essad Ribic just signed exclusive with Marvel, because he is a flat-out amazing painter.

I was at my comic shop today and I saw a comic that caught my interest. I can’t remember the name but the cover had a man’s face wearing a soviet military hat. He had bubbles or boils all over his face too. It seemed to be about war against the soviets or something and one of the first panels showed a map of Germany if I remember correctly. Can someone help me remember what it was called?
Anyway, I picked up some issues of Agent X and Vol.1 of the Walking Dead. I’m going back Friday (payday!) and picking up some new comics. Anything you would reccomend? Any new series out that are interesting?
That comic sounds like The Programme by Peter Milligan and C.P. Smith and published by WildStorm. I love Milligan and so far, two issues have come out. It’s pretty great so far.

This week is good. JLA special, Daredevil 100, Emperor Vulcan, New fucking Avengers, AND a new USM trade! I’m happy.

New avengers was pretty good. Dr. S getting some Power-U was cool.

Iornman Vs Thor turns out exactly like we expected just I didn’t expect the ownage to be so complete.
Xfactor was … meh. Layla / quicksilver shenannigans are getting boring to me. I understand what went down and i understand why he wants to kill her but it’s jut getting boring.
Also that guy looked alot like Sinister.

Highlight for me of course is the Superman Doomsday Animated Movie! While comic book stores might get it on Wednesday video stores should have it tomorrow. Buy it, rent it, get it on Demand but please this is a must view gosh darn it! :rock:
Other than that more World War Hulk as he goes on to break more stuff hooray! 
Anyone else pick up Daredevil #100 this past Wednesday? It was awesome to see Gene Colan doing Daredevil interiors again, and he has only gotten better with age. Not to mention the cover artist Marko Djurdjevic getting a crack at Daredevil’s interiors, too. Absolutely beautiful.
Other than WWH this week looks pretty disappointing.
'locky, any week that has a new Peter Milligan comic and a new issue of Madman is the opposite of disappointing. You might even call this week… ANTI-DISAPPOINTING

Looking forward to the new JLA arc and the Wonder Woman annual that’s supposed to finish Heinberg’s run. Always happy whenever the Berserk manga comes out! The first volume of the Witchblade anime comes out this week but chances are I’ll check that out next month or so.
OT: For anyone in the NY area this week is the NY Digital Life Show, our mini E3 styled event where you get to play a lot of games and stuff. Not much to do with comics I guess but there’s a good chance you’ll get to test out Spider-Man Friend or Foe and other comic book related games heh heh! Last year Gametap held a few Street Fighter tournies so there’s always that. Anyway if you can stop by and check it out.
