List is updated. Quiet week for me, looking forward to Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane naturally. I’m gonna miss McKeever when he leaves the book but I’m hyped about Terry Moore taking over too. Still wondering who’s gonna be the new artist…
Hopefully the artist will be alot better than the currennt one. I’m not feeling it at ALL.

Buffy, Green lantern corps, amazing spider-man, mighty avengers, onslaught reborn, and Sojourn vol 5.
Thor #1 Zombie cover tomorrow, aswell as Black Summer #1. That’s about 2/20 or so books I’m getting tomorrow, but eh… I’m looking forward to these two the most.
List updated. Looks like it will be a pretty quiet week for me. Looking forward to Spider-Man Red Sonja #1 and still hoping for a Shuma-Gorath cameo in the series somewhere! What, Kulan Gath is the villain, he has summoned Shuma-Gorath before - it’s possible but I’m not holding my breath…
Unless they play Spider-Man/Red Sonja as a humor book, I have a hard time imagining how that could possibly be good. Did you see that New Avengers/Transformers comic? Terrible!
Really? I enjoyed it. Spidey was funny in the comic! He quoted Scooby Doo what’s not to love?
But yeah this will be the second time Spidey meets Red Sonja and the third time he’s faced Kulan Gath when Marvel owned those characters and this story will tie into those, so this one is less of a crossover than the Transformers one really.
And Spidey/Red Sonja is said to be a love story between Spidey and his wife MJ. Um, enjoy it while it lasts before JQ splits them up forever after One More Day… :bluu:
So MJ transforms into Red Sonja or something? What’s next, MJ is revealed to be JACKPOT?! (Or whatever that new superchick from Free Comic Book Day is named.) I just don’t understand how they can tell these kind of stories with a straight face. They need Peter Milligan and Mike Allred for this shit.
First the writer eluded to Red Sonja waking up in MJ and later he denied that. The Plot Thickens Tune In Tomorrow!!! And yeah MJ will be Jackpot after One More Day somehow, around the same time I drop all 3 Spidey books. :rolleyes:

Don’t think they’ve flat out said it. But they’ve dropped hints at SDCC that Spidey’s comic will be about a single guy soap opera yadda yadda… oh and check out this future page - Dun dun DUUUUUN!

Gwen Stacy will not be coming back to life. One of the new writers said he would refuse to work on one of the titles if that was the case and Marvel said no. (For now…)

It seems like Spider-Man is gonna get an Infinite Crisis style make over, they are going to make it so the marriage never happened so Joe Quesada can get his wish while avoiding killing her off or divorcing the two so he can preserve Spidey’s youth… all this and Amazing is gonna ship 3 times a month so you will be forced to buy all 3 titles ala what Superman does all of the time… um… Yay? 
Of course, people screw with us and mess with our heads so we don’t know exactly how all of this is gonna go down. Not the three times a month thing, that’s real - I mean how the reboot is going to happen. After One More Day I think I’ll be dropping all Spidey books if I don’t like the outcome except for Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane and New Avengers. I like characters moving forward, not backward. If JQ wants to end the marriage, do it the logical way - divorce or death, not by using a reset button and rewinding the character back 30 years.
Eh we’ll see what happens…
Yeah. I hope they don’t actually end the marriage. I know Quesada likes the old-school, single Spidey, but I just don’t think there’s a way to make it go back to what it was. If people don’t like them married, they can still enjoy Ultimate Spidey and Spidey Loves MJ.
A death, no matter how well-written, would still be perceived as a cheap stunt. And divorce? Way too controversial; even if it’s well-written, I would be willing to bet that the controversy would overshadow the story. Hitting a Superboy Prime-ish Reset Button would be the worst, though. When has THAT ever been a good story?
I’m not too excited about any of the new creative teams, either. Bob Gale? Who’s he? The writer of Back to the Future and an uncollected run on MK Daredevil? Why Bob Gale?
I used to be really high on Dan Slott, but somewhere along the line, my enthusiasm for She-Hulk got tempered. Hopefully I’ll enjoy what he does with Spidey.
Zeb Wells… I’ve read some of his work. I think he’s a solid writer. His New Warriors was great, and so were his issues of Spider-Man’s Tangled Web. His Spidey/Doc Ock: Year One with Kaare Andrews was also very good. He’s not one of my favorite writers or anything but I think he has the ability to have a breakout season.
Marc Guggenheim is cool. He and Christos Gage are probably my two favorite up-and-comers right now. I really dug his Wolverine: Civil War story. And I just read his Hyperion Vs. Nighthawk comic, and that was quite good. Never had any interest to read his Blade series, but maybe I’ll go back and check it out if I like his Spidey.

Bad Planet 2 finally came out. Replacement artist they got slightly resembles Larosa’s artwork so its all good.

Small week for me. Most excited about Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Unmasked Spidey finally meets JJJ that’s gonna be all kinds of funny.
Gotta enjoy Spidey while I can just before Dr. Strange knocks out a wall of reality in One More Day to end his marriage, organic webs, unmasking and just about everything else. :arazz: Unless of course it’s all misdirection on Marvel’s end but it seems like something like that is gonna happen…
