What sucked is that the store near my job didn’t have any copies of the new League yesterday. They had a crapton of New 52 and Before Watchmen and AvX books, but not the one thing that I actually wanted to read, own, and cherish forever.
At least they had a copy of Fatale #6. But still… No LXG? Those jerks.
A new issue of Mega Man drops next week! Also Simon Furman continues his Marvel run in Transformers Regeneration One. The robot take over begins in six days! :cybot:
Mega Man Vol. 3 Return of Wily TPB drops next week! :cybot:
The Classic G.I. Joe TPB series comes to a close with Vol. 15. After that you can jump right into G.I. Joe A Real American Hero since it picks up right after the last story. YO JOE!
Speaking of the continuation of old Marvel comics, Transformers Regeneration One #82 drops! The last issue was SOOOOO GOOD!
Wait a second, IDW’s continuing old Marvel comics man what the… Can’t Marvel get in on the fun too? WABAM! Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man #156.1 written by Roger Stern drops. :looney:
Lastly, The First X-Men starts next week. Just so you know, the first X-Men are better than the FIRST X-Men. Scott Pilgrim movie humor lols! TGIF!
The Batman Inc. issue that was delayed due to a scene that resembled the Oklahoma Dark Knight Rises shooting drops next week. Also Spider-Man’s 50th Anniversary issue in the next issue of ASM! Really quiet week for me but a good one.
Hey I just heard that they just revealed Tobi’s real identity over in Japan. Spoiler Alert: It’s not Lars from Tekken, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Street Fighter x Tekken! I mean come on his alt Geki outfit in Street Fighter x Tekken is pretty much a Kakashi outfit. That was a punk move Kishimoto you could’ve gotten someone that appeared in a Capcom game all up in Naruto. A PUNK MOVE! :annoy:
DC drops Ame-Comi Girls #1 featuring Wonder Woman, a comic based on that toy line of anime versions of female DC characters. My name is Sano and I approve this message. :lovin:
Lastly, the Uncanny X-Men and the Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes all get together and perform the Dragon Ball Z Fusion dance and become the Uncanny Avengers, Earth’s Mutanest and Mutant Liking-est Heroes or something. :looney:
Next week I will be attending New York Comic Con so if I don’t get around to updating this until next Monday you know why. Still, the above link will take you to the newest list of weekly comics so just check it Thursday if anything.
Like every year I will be talking about and discussing everything I see and do at New York Comic Con so check the Sticky Convention Thread for updates!
Didn’t get to update this for the current week. Busy with the NYCC last week and I had something to do, personal or otherwise pretty much every day this week. Not much came out, it was a quit one for me. The Marvel Point One issue dropped. Oh and G.I. Joe A Real American Hero was pretty good. Not much esle stood out for me personally.
So onto next week! I’m looking forward to GANTZ #25! I started reading this manga about a mount or so back after I finished watching the anime. I read volumes 8 (around when it continues after the anime) to 24 wicked fast. I even watched the two live action movies lol! So hooked!
Still stuck in my neighborhood thanks to Hurricane Sandy so there’s no way for me to pick up comics, at least until Monday. ARG really want that TMNT annual…
At least next week looks reaaaaally quiet for me. Or I’m just hating because I can’t pick up my comics this week for the first time in like two decades! Lol well still thankful that I’m otherwise safe and I live close to a movie theater so I won’t miss Wreck-It Ralph! Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, Zangief and Master Bison on the big screen WORD! Yes I have to get extra hype about it because there’s no comics for me for a while.
