NEW "Blazblue Continum: Shift" discussion!

*fixed

Does Litchi get the BEWBs car or the Big stick car?

Wow, it looks like everyone got nerfs except except bang tager and hakumen

hehehehehe…

Ha ha, Lambda-11’s D’s don’t combo. So clutch. New combos AWAY!

I’m sure most of us will be scanning DL and SRK for new BB news, but here’s Tsubaki’s movelist.

Heh, Jin is garbage.

Ah well, only the first test.

all i really want is for there to be 4 or 5 more characters and for them to give tager a dash. i wouldnt mind having a charge character either.

That’s the character Lambda? I’m more used to writing in an ‘Italics form’ :china:

I know that this is just a loketest and nothing is final, but it’s kind of funny. I’ve been saying for weeks now that they will likely nerf the top 3 to bring them down to the same tier as the others while nearly everyone else said that everyone will just get buffed and the top 3 wont change much. Well…it just looks like they nerfed everyone, especially the top 3, and buffed the guys on the bottom. Nu and Arakune got it especially bad. If most of these changes remain, it would be interesting to see who keeps maining Nu because all the Nu’s I run into claim they main her cuz they like her character design, flying swords, or some other bs.

Lol wut? Didn’t know Gucci was a shitty online Noel -

Bullet Storm was more or less one of Noel’s good zoning tools out of the rack load of bad zoning tools she had (at the cost of 50% meter). Now it serves little to no purpose outside of tagging at the end of combos for a little more damage since it’s now as unsafe as SFIV Viper’s Ultra.

Meanwhile, shitty online Noels are rejoicing because they get new D moves to spam.

Anyway, I want those loke test vids of CS nao. :open_mouth:

Nah Nu got it worst since it looks like they have killed her off and replaced her with Lambada.

Don’t be suprised if people who liked Nu for her character design don’t pick her up if it turns out too different.

That’s true, that character had more of an overhaul than the others.

Right now I am not feeling Rachel so far. I love flog and combos. Take longer time for wind to recover, I thought it was long enough already.

I have no complaints about Tager. Systems all go for now.

 • new down status throw called Rocket Finger which has magnetize property, 22D (the one like Ragna’s 22C)
 • double the guard libra of other characters.
 • new 4D move, magnetizes
 • 623C has invincibility against HEAD attribute move

EDIT:

 • Walk faster
 • jump faster
 • 2D is faster
 • 5D has guard point and doesn’t hit opponent far away, able to combo after it
 • 3C pulls opponent back
 • C is faster

Goddamn, it looks like the buffed the shit out of the low tiers. I’m kinda mad they gave Jin yukikaze, but I want to know more about hakumen’s new barrier move. I also want to know more about his buffs in general.

Tsubaki’s moves look interesting.
Basically, she has some kind of Rekka-like move, and I think her air 236A/B/C/D is that downward air move we saw in the scans.
Her drive is weird though, because it’s used to charge her specials, so what happens if you do 236D?
Is there a charge time, or does it happen instantly, like she just flashes or something and it’s charged
I’m guessing if you do, say, 236D in the air, it instantly charges that move up, changing it from Lvl.1 236 into a lvl.2 236, thus making it more powerful.
Could this be used as a Feint?
Like, say your pressuring a guy, you jump up, and instead of doing her 236A/B/C you fake and do the D version.
Same would go for the ground 236D, it would be used much like C.Vipers feints in SF4.
Her ground 236A/B/C is probably very unsafe since it hits multiple times, but unlike Rekka you don’t have to input the command for the other hits to come out, it’s automatic, so you really have to pick and choose when and where you use it.
Can’t really guess what her 214A/B/C/D is, but again, the whole Rekka/Fient philosophy holds true.
It think the only difference between her A/B/C moves are distance, strength, and recovery time, but then again, I could be wrong. Jin’s 4 DP’s are pretty much totally unique from one another, so you never know.
She has a DP, which is weird, but pretty fucking cool also. We all know how good DP’s are in this game, and with 4 different DP’s, she’s probably gonna have the best one’s in the game since Jin’s got nerfed to hell and knowing ArkSys they probably killed Litchi’s Tsubame.
She also has a backwards DP, which is really weird, and gives me even more of reason to think her moves are like Fei’s.
She also has one DD with 2 different versions (which is weird, does anyone else have that?) and an AH.
Again, Tsubaki looks really cool, quick, agile, 8 DP’s (counting the backwards DP’s) Rekka-esque moves, she really looks to be what Jin was to the last game, or what Ryu is to SF. Someone who has all the tools to deal with any situation, and someone who at there core is very solid. Also looks like one of those “easy to pick up, hard to master” types, much like Jin/Ryu.

What am I looking at? Gucci throwing it once in a match when his opponent was seemingly pursuing him in the air?

That’s not what I’m referring to. I’m talking about poor players randomly throwing it out at full screen like ass-clowns because it can’t be punished in most cases. I’d say something that’s almost instantaneous, automatically locks in on it’s opponent, can connect at any distance and is mostly unpunishable a little on the over kill side for a zoning tool.

I mean, isn’t that why we all hate Nu?

Plus, it’s DD cancelable, which can be a game-ender and has happened to me many times when the match was too laggy for me block in time

There is no auto lock-on with Bullet Storm. It shoots at an diagonal angle.

It’s a bit silly to mention Nu with her meterless D zoning considering Bullet Rain burns 50% meter (50% which is better used for Noel saving her ass from getting punished from her unsafe moves).

Not exactly as free or useful as Nu’s D zoning, hence why Nu got so much hate in the first place. Maybe if Noel didn’t have more important uses for her meter, then it would have been an issue, but it wasn’t because more than half the time a Noel is using her meter for other, more important, things. That super serves little to no purpose now (which I think is pretty stupid). Who the hell is going to use a move that burns 50% and is as punishable as Viper’s ultra for zoning purposes?

Qwertyhero: I don’t think they are rekkas but more like Order-Sol. This might be inaccurate cause it has been a long time since I’ve played Guilty Gear. His level 1 uppercut acted like normal. Level 2 adds more hits with more invincibility. Level 3 acts like level 2 except ends with a kick that causes the opponent to ground bounce so you can follow it up. Using any of the attacks above level 1 causes the bar to decrease quickly. His supers acted in the same manner. And he could trip you, cancel his trip by charging his level manually for a second then combo you. It also was use to apply pressure by doing it after some moves that were unsafe.
You also had the option to do a level 1 attack at level 3 by pressing 2 buttons instead of one.

Here is a combo video to give you an idea. But I haven’t seen any footage of the new BB so I could be wrong in how Tsubaki plays.

Well, that’s AC Order-Sol.

From my understanding, the first game Oder-Sol make his debut in, Slash, he, along with ABA, weren’t all that good.

Hopefully the same doesn’t happen to Tsubaki.

Exactly. The same can be applied to Ara, Jin and Carl.
