If her DP’s have no invincibility, then I guess it’s smarter to only use it in combo’s, I wonder how fast they are though?

EDIT: Oh wow, Hazama is fucking great.
He’s SO fast, almost as fast as Tao.
So, I kinda see how his chains work, once they connect with your opponent (whether on block or hit) you can use a button to pull yourself towards them. You can also use the chains to hit the ground, and pull yourself towards the ground, same goes for the corners of the stage.
Now THAT is fucking interesting, I can only imagine the combo potential of that. Hazama uses his chains to get inside on zoners, plus, his hop actually looks pretty effective, unlike Haku’s hop. I wonder, if you hit someone with a chain, can you use a button to hit them with a follow move?
Like, if you hit, then press A, you move towards them, but don’t attack. If you press B, you move towards them and attack with a follow up that can be RC’d.
His DD is fucking quick! From what I can see it’s an AA attack that is useful in combos. Can’t really make heads or tails of his second DD, some kind of trap?
I’m trying to figure out how exactly Hazama LOSES chains?
Does he lose a chain when he grapples on to something?
He can also grapple onto the ceiling, which is kinda weird, wonder what that’ll be used for.
Hazama’s chains don’t hit from point blank range.
His jump is AWFULLY slow, and short, but I suppose that’s to make up for the fact that his chains can move him all around the stage.
Looks like SOME of his attacks can be charged/delayed. When fully charged, it knocks your opponent in the air on normal hit.
He has a sweep move, kinda like Ragna’s.
From what I can see, Hazama can pull people TOWARDS him with the chains as well, but I think that’s only on hit.
It looks like he can push himself away from people as well, which is good for getting out of pressure to some extent, even though chains don’t hit from point blank so how effective is it really?
Hazama’s j.B (The one where he kicks with one leg) looks like a really good poke.
Hazama’s D cancel allows you to pull yourself forward without really attaching yourself to anything. Good for feints and baiting shit out, but only if the recovery is good.
And HELL YES, to Hazama’s win pose, just stands over your body like “I just owned your bitch ass”

Since Hazama’s drive meter has a max of 2, and only regens when he’s grounded, I wonder how fast is regens…

Also, from that vid, He doesn’t seem to be a combo-heavy character, and even moreso, his damage output is on the low side, as of now at least.

From the looks of things, you MAY still be able to combo with 6C from a Tsubame… Maybe it implies on Counter Hit only? or maybe only on certain characters?

Also, reduced damage on Kokushi Musou…? T.T sigh I know that it was quite damaging in certain situations, but with all of the other changes, they didn’t have to compound it, did they? =_=

Oh, and nice to see that Carl keeps part of his loop… Gives him a nice damage-dealing tool that’s not an infinite…

Yeah Hazama Looks pretty crazy there i am looking forward to play around with him. I dont know it i will main him but i am going to check him out. Probably will stick with the white void. But yea Hazama has got the Micheal Jackson thing going for her for sure lmao

Hazama’s DD looks like crap. A tiny area on the ground your opponent has to be standing in? People were throwing it out when with their opponent willingly standing there and it still wasn’t connecting. Almost as if in only lands as a counter hit. Even then, the damage was weak.

Yeah, hopefully that gets improved.

We don’t really see how Tsubaki is supposed to be played here.
We see Hazama’s command throw works, it’s an AA, wonder if it’s air unblockable?
Tsubaki charges VERY quick, maybe a half second for each level.
So now we see how Hazama’s other DD works.
Basically, if your on that little circle, your gonna get hit by an unblockable move. I don’t know when this will be useful, maybe if someone tech rolls backwards you can tag em’ with this.
Jin LOOKS nearly the same as the last game, I’m just wondering how he plays.
5B looks a tad bit slower but not as much as I thought. Ice car with no knockdown is gay, but it looks like you can followup B ice car on a crouching opponent.
Hazama’s sweep is nasty, it’s so damn fast!
Jin’s new j.C looks pretty decent actually, the new horizontal hitboxes are nice.
Jin’s throw combo remains somewhat intact.

Uhhh, Jin instant blocked it. So, I’m still wondering what it does…

EDIT: DL folks say Jin’s j.236D is back to 3 swords, and 5C >6C combos again.

Yeah, I just saw that, maybe it’s like jin’s DP, you can only IB or barrier block it
EDIT: It looks like Jin’s mash C is cancel-able.
He did this on crouching Hazama: 5B (1 hit) > mash C (1 hit) > 2C > B Ice Car the b ice car bounces Hazama up in the air. Is it possible to follow up after this?
NOW I see what they were talking about with Jin’s Ice Swords, you can fire 3 off at one time on the ground, that’s pretty sick, and that’s something that you don’t really wanna be blocking, I can see mixups from hell off of 2 or 3 blocked ice swords

EDIT: Just like I figured, Lambda looks exactly like Nu.
Basically, she’s just a less effective Nu.
Bang, on the other hand, looks freakin’ great.
Basically Bang is just Bang 2.0, he has mostly the same moves but there just better.
His new DD looks crazy! It almost kinda looked like Hazama’s DD, except it’s short range. Wonder if it can be combo’d into?

alittle disappointed that they didnt show jin’s yukikaze.
also the way the dude comboed from 2c-3c-ice car was pretty cool. i think having some of the d moves faster makes up for his 5b being slightly slower.
overall he still looks really good. now if they’d only change the gay looking pictures on the character select screen.

Does any one know whats going on with Ragna’s new move like what it does. I see it in a screen shot. But i dont know what he is doing there looks pretty crazy. Anyways if anyone knows be awesome if you let me know

Its a dive I believe. Doesn’t have frame advantage, not an overhead, and doesn’t lead to any combos. ;(

It may lead to something on counter hit but I don’t think that has been confirmed yet. I think its atleast safe on block. But he can’t attack his opponent before they do.

I’m surprised how smooth they animated hazama. Almost like a smooth… criminal.

edit: honestly though, the first screens of him looked awkward as hell so it’s nice to see they managed to animate him nicely.
