Oh man, the new look of Haku’s Magatama gauge is horrible IMO, I hope they’ll revert to it’s original circle look.

Eh, I think it’s a bit easier to understand, a quick glance and you can see how much magatma you have (if it’s long, you have a lot) but with the circle, I don’t know, I just don’t think it’s a great representation, takes a little bit longer for you to see exactly how much you have.
But maybe it’s just a matter of preference, I personally like the new look
EDIT: So, what exactly is the meter UNDERNEATH Haku’s magatma?

Also, another (kinda random) question, could you use Negative Edge in GG?

Are there any pictures of Lambda up yet? Was he/she in the first game? If so can someone remind who me who it is?

Also, there are no pictures up of Lambda, although there has been a picture of her face floating around and she looks pretty much like Nu with blond hair.

We still have a limited throw loop but Nirvana loses about 20% health for each clap (so, if Carl was to use his original setup, it’d be 5 claps and 4 throws), so it’s still not an infinite, but at least he can (potentially) still do some good throw damage.

That’s still some real good damage, but it comes at the risk of your doll, which is pretty bad.

Do you mean that his hop allows him to TK stuff, so you can 66j.2c even though it’s not as effective anymore since j.2c isn’t an overhead anymore.

I’m not gonna be too bothered at this point in time…

From the sound of things from the people at DL, there are still many loke tests to go through, and so many changes yet to be made… Rachel got George combos back (to a certain degree) in this second loke test, which is still going on, meaning that there’s hope yet…

Actually, I’m pretty happy about that.
That whole shake thing was a ridiculous mechanic, and I’m glad they took it out
BUT, if Jin is still the same as the last Loke test, AND you don’t have to shake out of ice, that’s a problem.
I’m sure now it’s just a matter of fixing how long you stay stuck in ice for now.
I wonder if some characters get out of ice faster than others, THAT could get interesting.
Like I said previously, Hazama is likely gonna be my main if he’s any good, so I’m not THAT hurt if Jin gets a few bruises from the good ol’ nerf stick.

Also apparently Haku can’t combo 5C after 41236C. That’s kind of a shame. I don’t suppose there are any videos of the location tests? I am very curious as to how the ‘projectile barrier’ thing works, and how the 6B overheard works as well.

I bet there are video’s, but probably on like the Japanese Youtube or something, there’s only been one little 15 second clip so far of Tsubaki vs. Bang, and the quality wasn’t anything to write home about so basically we’ve got more information from screenshots and such than actual video
EDIT: Well before, Haku could cancel 4C in to one of his specials. One of the examples someone gave was Haku could do 236a>4c>236a for 4K damage which was insane, So I guess the only time you can combo from 4C as of right now is off of CH, which is good.

I don’t think they actually allow videos at loketests, the short clip was probably snuck in. Hopefully I’m wrong on that though, I’d love to see Hazama in action.

I’m really happy about the Jin ice stuff, I always hate seeing a lot of the blackbeat combos he gets on me because I never feel like waggling like hell.

yeah, negative edge was in GG. eddie was based heavily around it even.

Things that interested me:

OK, so the general consesus on DL forums is that Hazama has aspects similar to Johnny; dash is apparently a hop, is a very close range character, etc, etc. He has a command throw that does no damage, but can be combo’d afterwards.

Tsubaki’s DPs have no invincibility (thank god), but she has a distortion drive with no recovery, i.e. can be used as a reversal. Her charge time is apparently very fast (which has me worried, since her lvl. 5 command throw does 5k, and she herself is a speedy character).
