New autofire detector feature!

Honda’s throw range is hax :frowning:

First of all, program pad and macros is the same thing, you are either ignorant or playing ignorant by referring to them seperately.

Second, what is the point of fighting games? To out time your opponent. Thats it. The whole freaking concept is based on timing. That is why so many people complain about online fighting games. “Oh, the lag is so bad on XBOX Live, yadda, yadda, yadda.”

You are now going to try and justify that someone using programmed moves and combos has no advantage over someone who isn’t. Give me a break. The whole point in any game, I don’t care if it’s Yahoo! Checkers, is to force your opponent into a tough situation. When they can do any move anytime they want, because it’s programmed in, you might as well be playing the computer.

Hell, how is that any different than a basketball game where the other player can make every shot, a first person shooter where people use an aimbot and never miss. You are going to try and justify that by saying, “Oh Gee, well you shouldn’t have let him shoot you or you should have got him first.”

And lastly, I played Fatherbrain’s Zangief which was supposed to be so good. He kept PMing me after I called out Ryu1999 because he wanted to show me how he could do a spinning pile driver standing flat. So, I finally played him and he sat there trying to do it and couldn’t. He is a decent player no doubt, but everytime I beat him, he called desynch even though the server never called desynch.

Desync can happen without the server detecting it. The desync the server detects is actually more of a disconnect.

You’re putting a lot of effort in to your posts for someone with a joke account.
Either that or you’re serious and you’re just a lot dumber than I actually thought.

I think in the long run, CDL does make some good points how when you do meet someone using macros/programmable pad it just removes the whole point of playing the game which should be a combination of fun and skill, not 1-button press specials/supers and perfect reversals to get out of tough spots everytime.

On the flipside, he is going on about it way too much (some people cheat online - shock horror!) and is accusing all the wrong players of such antics.

/me shrugs…

Ya know, sometimes I wish I could ban people…

Oh, that wacky Zaxon…

<Zaxon 2005> U ???

<Jinrai> that’s you
<Zaxon 2005> wtf???

<Zaxon 2005> j

  • Player 2 (Zaxon 2005) dropped from the current game.
  • Zaxon 2005 left the game’s partyline.

Gotta love the random “j” before making a runner, lol.

I’m shocked that SRK uses it. Tsk tsk tsk. And Moosehead, please widen the Game column. “(Street Fighter …)” could be one of several games, mainly CE/HF/A3.

The list is misleading sometimes. People testing out the detector get counted too.

I like that it shows the game though.
I use auto’ in Metal Slug 3 occasionally. Hands get cramped after like 10 minutes of mashing A.

I dunno about sf but in sfa3 ryu1999 does not use autofire.
I should know.

I know what auto and not auto can do.
ryu1999 is just one of the best players in sfa3 on kaillera. he beats me and I beat him. if he uses auto im sure he will be able to kick the crap out of me any day. he messes up his v ism from time to time… I could tell it was input time.

p.s auto can still be used without getting detected. no1 really holds a button for one second… Im gonna experiment more.

I thought he admitted to using autofire on MK, or was that someone else…

dunno about mk but I was talkin about sfa3…
cuz he loses and uses autofire… -_-"

No I mean, the MK button.

oh… I see…

ARENT THERE ANY LEGIT PLAYERS ANYMORE!!

That was me who he admitted it to months ago. This is around the first couple of times that I played him and I was trying to bait him cause I knew he was cheating and started talking trash and I think I made some shit up about someone else telling me that he used auto fire and macros and he then said, “I only use auto fire for Alpha 3 for medium kick because of the lag.”

Probably holding the shit down to do Ryu’s little flip kick rapidly during the V-ISM.

By the way Moosehead, how about a program that tests button response time? For adapters and such. Is that possible or do you know any programs already out there to test input lag?

say it ain’t so…

well Ive been experimenting alot
but I assure I dont use auto.

If you dont believe me its fine… but if you watch my moves you can tell that nothing is auto’ed

heck il even go record my hands on kb and screen pwning if you want =)

EDIT: if you can get the full text you can see that I am by myself

EDIT AGAIN: Im the one that started the thread… so… you do the math =P

I don’t know why anyone is giving anything CDL says any credit.
He was also re-posting month old topics in the Fighting Game Discussion forum.
I mean literally copying and pasting old topics for no reason.

well he brings up good points and I sort of believe him but its the accusations that makes me not give credit and I dont flame =)

he sorta balances himself out hehe

everyone give CDL a break man, cuz fact is he is right. you shouldn’t use any “crutch” for making your game better. be it macros, autofire, or even mapping three punches/kicks to one button. i mean seriously in MHO fighting games shouldn’t even be played with anything BUT a joystick. now i know that most are gonna cry about how not everyone can afford a joystick yadda yadda yadda. but i mean hey, how hard is it to map buttons say if your a gief player, well map ASDF, as up, right, down , and left and just piano out 360’s all day long.

or how about NEVER throwing red fireballs with ryu during a crucial vism in alpha 3 because you don’t have any chance of going past down during the custom? cuz you are hitting a direct down key then press left key or right. not acually having to “roll” the fireballs out i mean you roll the keys to a certain point but not like you would a joystick.
