New autofire detector feature!

I’m not gonna give a break to a guy who’s obviously a forum troll. Go take a look at his posts in the other sections of SRK if you don’t believe me. He gets flamed in almost every topic he posts. He’s trying to piss people off on purpose. He just happens to be literate unlike most trolls.

Stupidest thing I’ve heard all day. Good luck playing like that. It’ll let you do 360’s easily, but you’ll have a hell of a time moving or jumping properly. Besides, it’ll be really obvious when you barely jump or tick at all and you walk up and do 360’s constantly.

Some games work fine without a joystick, some don’t. Alpha 3 might not, but something like Last Blade 2 is alright. I actually have a pretty above average Zangief in ST considering I’m on keyboard. Only problem is, I can’t do tick 720’s consistantly on KB, and doing one without jumping or ticking first is almost impossible, so I can’t do reversal 360’s which is irritating.

With MAME you could map a second set of keys, so you have 4 direction keys to control normally, and whenever you want to try and SPD your opponent, have a second set of keys close by to drum in a straight line for easy mode 360’s.

Oh no, the secrets have been revealed! Expect a new wave of ST Zangief players to assault Kaillera by the end of today, haha.

I can’t believe most of you posters still address CDL.

When I used to be on, he had acused me of auto-fire too. But then he stopped. cause I bet he tried to do what I do with my characters in a3, and just couldn’t.

Also people used to call me a cheater cause of my empty 360s with Mika.

Just stop playing those people and play people you already know are good and honest at whatever game you play, and just stick to playing them in as minimal lag as possible.

EDIT: and I agree with Tom@ss that fighting games need to be played on a STICK.

Elmers caught using autofire, what the hell…I’m going to just assume he was “testing it out”…

you need to work on your jystick skills =/

n e time n e place man, for your info i don’t play ryu, but i can tell you that if i did, i would accidently throw a red fireball now and again, you know why cuz i am human. not god.

but any time that you wanna play alpha 3 you lemme know.

accidental red fireball like never happens… ever. you say you don’t play ryu, well maybe you should actually try it rather than speculate.

you use a hori right? what adapter do you use for it

Hey thanks for the big ups bro…but i’m actualy a noob remember? :wgrin: lol

Anyways personaly I was never interested in auto…macros…rapid fire… or any of that other riff raff. All i want to do is…fight! lol. It’s true…i do play with a busted controller (which sucks) but when i play, i play. I don’t make no excuses. Seriously… if ya’ll are frustrated, bitching and hating at the fact that some numb nut is cheating…THEN DON’T PLAY HIM!
Its as simple…yet detailed as that…

NOW…i don’t give a frig if your white, black…japanese…chinese…vietnamese, siamese, or an alien… …

IF YOU DOWN WITH TURBO, THEN YOU DOWN WITH ME.

So lets go!

(I’ll be waiting at the servers)

Wow elmers got caught 4 more times…and he told me he did not use autofire when I had first questioned him about it, on SRK (in the Good Games thread).

It’s looking like a lot of “respected” people were using auto, at least some…

Lol, T-Kimura’s up there. That guy always talks so much shit.
Probably someone impersonating him though.

Rocklee: Accidental red fireballs DO happen. You give V-Ryu a try and see what happens. Especially when you have to do push b+attack to do certain punches and kicks. How about going from b+fierce with V-Ryu into a blue fireball, ALL the time? It’s not as easy as one might think, especially in VCs. Accidental red fireballs when you mean for only blue, in order to not make the opponent pop up into the air. And accidental blue fireballs, when you DO want your opponent into the air or knocked down.

I don’t even use Ryu like that, to know that those accidents happen, cause i’ve seen it in videos and while playing Ryu users.

As for what stick i use, yeah i used a Hori when i played. It was connected to my computer from a parallel port converter through my printer. When on WinXP I used PSXPAD driver, and for WinME I used DirectPadPro.

DirectPadPro never gave me those goofy random button presses on the glitchy mame .64 but the PSXPAD did. But DirectPadPro delays like crazy on WinXP so i had to deal with it.

but he was talking about VC’s. i do play v-ryu (badly) but i’ve never had s.hadoukens come out in the hopkick VC. I mess up a lot miss timing, have a shoryuken come out etc but never a red fireball. The standing FP VC, well that one doesnt even matter what colout comes out afaik.

i don’t know maybe that’s just me.

I doubt it. People with the loudest mouths are usually the biggest scrubs/cheaters. myself included

Lastly how does this detect thing work? do I basically have to type /detectautofire on 5 each game?

During a VC if you’re deep, the red fireball sends the opponent airborne. At a distance, i dont know the effects of a red one, the stun might be different or something which could cause mistiming. Who knows.
As for the hopkick one, a dragonpunch is the more common mishap i’ve seen on that anyhow cause the hopkick having to use f+foward kick.

:lovin: :lovin: :lovin:

Anyways Slide’s right outside of basically point-blank distance, red fbs are the same in VCs.

Also, about the turbo MK I used to use it for V-ryu, and no one else, and anyone who’s played me knows that he’s not the character I run to when I start losing. Besides, turbo totally screws up alpha countering because the inputs are all messed up

I upgraded the Autofire detector on Anti3D server tonight. Should pickup Mame 0.64 autofire up to a delay of 10. May also pickup pads now. Need somebody with an autofire pad to test that.

Let me know what you get. It may false alert on mashing now, if you’ve got really consistent fast fingers.

I won’t post detections on the webpage for a while.

False alerted quite a bit, wasn’t even tapping that fast. Did it to both me and player 2. It seemed pretty sensitive to double tap directions (back, back, attack) and multi-button pushes (P+K+direction). Couple that with people’s tendency to input things multiple times to combat button loss, and random ghosting adding it’s own button hits in.
I guess it’s happening to everyone since I’m seeing alot of questions about it in the partyline.

This didn’t happen to me but I know Xanoz and Zelikazi told me of the same problem just recently. I think it is far too sensitive now.

It’s triggered wayyy too easily now.
Like constantly just by tapping/mashing.

It was fine the way it was before, change it back, lol.

There was a bug Emil helped me find, and I lowered the autofire delay threshold. Should be a little better now.
