If you’re good at drawing and would like to contribute to your way of HD graphics and sprites, please post images here. Would definitely be cool to see other users drawings of how they wanted KOF, BB, SFIV and so on to turn out.
Regardless, I am loving the work done by all companies for these fighting games of 09.
Whoa there, buddy. Let’s keep cool and not act like you’re better than people. Master Chibi justifies his opinion well. Your statement didn’t even show that you’re intelligent enough to HAVE an opinion.
Yeah well, it’s pretty inexcusable. The game looks better on a standard definition television from five years ago (before it was ever brought into existance) then a television it was supposedly meant to play on from this year.
Regardless, I’ll be buying the game like everyone else, and I still play it when I go to CF (admittedly the fobs destroy me, haha).
you need to differetiate between ‘pixelated’ (which by that i think you mean to say scaled badly), because 3s is also ‘pixelated’. btw at normal zoom, the kof12 sprites are scaled exactly 2:1, so at that level, there is no scaling problem. actually this does happen in 3s as well when there is zoom on supers.
edit - but it doesnt happen in mb so idk what youre talking about
Whoa there, buddy. Let’s keep cool and not act like you’re better than people. Making fun of different ethnicities and their cultural differences and odors. Not cool brah, not cool.
Dun worry, at least you don’t loose to CTF cpu like i did last time i played the game.
And just when I thought I understood Daimon -_-
Anyway…there’s no scaling problem, its just how its intentionally done, admittedly, it may also be because the camera zooms in the closer the fighters are to eachother (and they start off close to eachother too) If the chars step away, the camera pans out more. Maybe thats all thats bugging you.
because they scale it to odd sizes without any kind of filter. youre talking about where some pixels are different size than other pixels, right? actually i noticed kof12, its not exactly right on, but since the game runs at 720 it looks ok, at least to me. http://stashbox.org/531578/4a0e950211a8a.jpg
i mean if you think that looks bad idk w/e i think it looks nice
Re: "Jaggies"
If a 3D game doesn’t have anti-alias it is refered to as “jaggy” by people these days (probably because HD resolution isn’t really that high, you can get away with no AA if you’re on a computer at super resolutions).
Why should fighting games be held to another standard? HD Remix is the only 2D fighting game without jaggies (due to it being the only “photoshop” sprite fighter, compared to “pixel” sprite fighter), unless you turn on one of those horrible “filters” that blurs the whole sprite.
