I finally got to beat “DAN” yesterday but not after an r1 morrigan raped my r3 blanka three times! WTF… Is anyone else there on DAN’s skill level at that tilt and still goes there?

Just got back from my excursion to the Tilt. Good times, good times. High point of the day: getting a 19 win streak on MvC2 (before the Cable skills came.) Low point: having my car throw a cylinder or something halfway home so it sounds like a two ton rock tumbler.
Also, heys to the guy that thought I was the guy from New York, and the other guy that challenged me to XMvSF (if he too is so affiliated with SRK.) More appropriate ‘heys’ to the people I played on MvC2 if they peruse these boards as well. There were many good challenges.
My three gems of revelation of the evening: I have a long way to go if I want to become decent in CvS2, Cable owns my favorite team of Dr.D/IM/BH for free, and always make sure your car has oil no matter how much it leaks.
I would say the top player is James, don’t know if he still goes there often though. After James I would put Dan/RJ/Me/Tyram/Tony/George as the other top players at Tilt, in no particular order. I have my wins/losses against all of them, and I don’t think any one of us are very far ahead or behind eachother as far as skill(with the exception of James, he could take pretty much any of us out at will LOL) its usually a pretty even fight.
Don’t know about the tournaments though, Tyram probably knows because he has been running them lately.
what about for marveL? rj, sean, sadao, dan? i think phil fell off =P
If i was to make a tournament date for nov 6th would you all show up? I dont want to make a date for a tourney that no one can show up to.

Why of course it was! As far as I can tell, it’s the closest arcade with any SRK approved competition. Hell, I was planning on making my these trips to the bay area a weekend hobby, especially since there are no arcades in my area, and I just love my fighting games.
The Tilt wins my stamp of approval. I just hope by the time I come back, the lp buttons on both sides of MvC2 aren’t to temperamental.
Well I hope you do make the trip a weekend hobby, it always good to have more people at the arcade. Hopefully if you make it again in the future I can get some games in, I suck at MvC2 but I will play it and if you decide to play cvs2 I am always down for that.
