Uh, what? I admitted I was wrong, so I don’t understand this post (I’ll assume this was directed at me because I did a lot of the arguing against it). A lot of this can be blamed on the Brady guide, because for me and other new people to the game this was the knowledge you had to soak up in order to be any sort of comp. In the guide it says “you don’t combo denjin, you just release it and hope it connects.” This was the miscommunication, however I will never argue something when I know I’m wrong, and I’ll always admit when I’ve been proven wrong.
This is wrong on so many levels, but would rock nonetheless.

Oh, and anytime you can get the jab fireball to hit late (such as the juggle above), that almost always combos into full denjin (if the denjin is canceled off of the jab fireball).
OKAY, I’ll say it – most if not all instances where Frankie threw the Denjin are escapable. HOWEVER, due to nature of the mindgame, tnere’s theoretically not much you can do about it.
jump and maybe eat almost instant super on the way out
wait for the parry and eat a c.hp xx hurricane while you’re parrying
try to quick rise and counter, then eat the jab fireball THEN the super
do nothing at all
THEORETICALLY it’s all escapable, but you know, there’s all those contingencies I put up there that help himself out.
Also bear in mind that Ryu’s moves, normal or special, do high amounts of stun damage. So even if you parry the first four hits and get knocked out of the parry, you’re still going to get hit twice by the Denjin and likely twice by the Ryu, which adds up to more meter, another knockdown, more damage taken off, and your stun already full or close to full.
Most importantly, all of this shit doesn’t matter if you’re playing the game. Are you REALLY going to be thinking “O NOES TEH DINJEN1?1/1/” Nix on the Theory Fighter and go play some 3S.

yun did Genei Jin, chunli went in for the cheese kill (since he woulda assumed after a genei jin, yun would start rushdown), but instead, yun parries it,
i dunno, i guess either yun was trying to bait out the SA2, or he just changed gears quick enough (from MODE:RUSHDOWN to MODE:PARRYALL)
