I am reluctant to agree with this (I really want to). As much as I want Poison to have a stronger zoning game, I actually believe Poison is going to be all about pressure. Once she is in, it is going to be very difficult to get her off of you - however I think she can also handle the “long distant relationships”
with her fireball- I just don’t think long distance is her thing - hehe
I just don’t really see her having the tools to compete with chun/Rose’s zoning game. Chun can walk behind her fireball (and her air game is pretty solid), not to mention st.HP having a decent distance and giving her a decent far-reaching anti-air (also Hazanshu goes over other fireballs). Rose has very long limbs together with soul throw, Cr.HP, a slide and quite a large fireball (also has reflect to deal with other fireballs). What does Poison really have to zone with (i.t.o. her current SFxT build)? Her fireball that doesn’t go full screen (and she cannot really walk behind, because her recovery takes too long), perhaps st.HP (it just seems way to slow), perhaps st.MP ( I can’t seem to really use it effectively though), and possibly LMT (or more effectively ex LMT) which she could get knocked out of?
She does have tools to zone with, I just think (as currently, from SFxT) they are not very good tools compared to the other characters? Don’t think you can really zone with Rekkas, KBG or backflip (I could be wrong)?
I do think her zoning game will be better in the SF4 engine though (fireball and LMT).
I think on paper she has all the tools to control the space from many different spaces - but it’s all just a ploy to get her in… once she is in, she going to be really difficult to shake off! Without rolls, Poison’s pressure game (hopefully) will be a lot stronger!!
I hope they improve st.MP - it was basically useless in SFxT outside of perhaps a corner (st.MP into HP fireball - if they try jump out the corner st.MP will hit, if they stay blocking in the corner you effectively cancel st.MP into a fireball for more pressure options). St.Mp could potentially improve her zoning game (could have a better horizontal and vertical hitbox)… in fact I would like a few of her moves to have better hitboxes, but st.MP has the most potential here imho.
On a side note: I absolutely LOVE Poison’s walk forward animation (in SFxT)… I just love the strut and the way she sways - almost like she is thinking “As much as you want to run away, I AM going to catch you and do unspeakable things to you…” 
I liked that super where she blows a kiss, and the heart stays on screen for a few seconds? Could potentially give us cross-up combos i.e. blow kiss (it remains on screen for few seconds), cross up combo into the heart? it didn’t do much damage though
Didn’t she also have an air throw in that game? She would have 10x better zoning potential if they gave her that whip 
They could maybe give her her hand-cuff fireball (as a SRK motion?) - it froze the opponent for a split second when connected - could allow her to setup combo’s etc.
