I dont own a PS3. I play KOF on 360 with a wired connection. So I have no idea why you think I’m playing on wireless.
Some people are saying that the lag issues may be because of the new firmware that just came out for the ps3. can any off yall ps3 owners confirm or deny this? If so I more hope for the 360 patch.
How can you confirm or deny this? You already have people’s review of the new netcode. It’s mixed results all around. General consensus is that it’s better than it was before.
lol… it’s not my fault… shes on the computer pretty much the whole time we r home as i’m on my ps3… so shes either on youtube or playing wow… i can’t help it… i still got a very fast internet speed so i’m ok… today i found more blue bars and the game was running really smooth…
Then its your fault. You get shit connections cause your woman is hogging up your bandwidth. Then you have the balls to come and bitch about the netcode? Some of you guys are fucking stupid.

Hes probably playing while downloading a bunch of torrents using his PS3 on wifi. When are people going to learn. Its freaking sad really.
I play on wireless for 360 and my yellow bar matches are generally very good(providing a red bar douche does not linger in the room too long), however I keep everything else internet related closed.
It really should be common sense, if you want a good connection, don’t waste your bandwith on other activities while playing

Unless you’re running far from your router, wireless isn’t an issue. And even then, you’d have problems just using the internet in general from that kind of distance. Blaming people on wireless is stupid. I’m on wireless and have great matches in SF4 and Blazblue, but still crap matches in this. Only now, instead of the game running at a snails pace, I get like half a second of input lag.
i wasn’t even bitching man… i luckily have been finding a lot of blue bars and the games been lagless for me… i’m pretty sure other people have good connections with yellow bars as i’ve seen them post about it… besides any fighting game is not right damn near perfect without blue bars… and since it is working i’m very pleased with snk… cause without the patch i tried a lot and couldn’t get 1 person to play… now i got quite a few… btw it’s good to hear u getting a ps3… maybe we can do some ralf mirrors when u get it…

At least the game is patched up to be very playable. Now KOFXII will actually be put in the ps3 from time to time.

Ever since I downloaded the patch, I am unable to see my connection strength while present in a lobby. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

have you gotten any blue bars while on wireless for kof12? Do you still see a lot of red bars? That bar is showing YOUR CONNECTION to them! If you are still getting bad laggy games and you are still wireless, and won’t try it wired just to compare the difference and you blame snkp? Wow sir!
