"Nem-Assists": The Nemesis Teambuilding/Assists Thread

On a similar (not really) note, I figured out something semi-neat… After a combo, use the TK Rocket to OTG an opponent while calling Shopping Cart, and it combos. Then flipping happens.

Then hentai happens.

Oh yeah.

[dem situational, inconsistent resets]

With Vergil second, I can Tentacle THC cancel with two bars and punish A LOT of unsafe shit.

Beam is better if you don’t already have a horizontal assist. I use it and i prefer it, though with Skrull as my other character, I don’t have an alternative assist

Nemesis/Taskmaster/Trish is the ultimate optimal team for nemesis, everyone should play it, cuz its dirty.

Curious, what dirty stuff do you have with Task/Trish? Because I was thinking of running that pair in a different context. And What assists are you running? Because I can see either peekaboo and horizontal arrows working, but I can also see low voltage and vertical arrows.

Edit: I just read your other post. Trap assist it is. So, may I ask for an explanation why this team is different from all other teams (tonight this team eats bitter herbs, shoutouts to Passover)

I wanna know the gameplan for that team! I may run it. :o

Ya know, if it’s as broken as they say, I’ll give it a shot too.

Oh hey, I just had an idea… Nemesis/Trish/Frank. Rockets -> Round Harvest -> Tag Frank, SMILE

Also, Frank basic Combo -> SMILE -> Launcher Slam assist -> Relaunch -> SMILE -> Peekaboo -> Insta-Flip -> THAT FELT GOOD

Oh, Trish and Frank are a match made in heaven. I’m running Firebrand/Trish/Frank right now, but that leaves the realms of “Nemesis Teambuilding”.

Quickly ducked into the lab. Opponent has all tech options open after flipping out of Peekabo, as well as air dashes and whatnot, making it completely pointless as a reset aide. Until someone figures out how to beat air dashing, stick with cM. Done right, covers all techs, so it’s the best we got

Man, I can’t wait to hit the lab with this team. Nemesis/Trish/Frank is so good…

Yay! I see another has fallen to Trish/Frank lovefest. And the wonderful part about that team is that once you do Nerm combo, DHC to Trish, Tag in Frank, and pics, the order’s Frank lvl4/Nem/Trish, which works pretty damn well, though considering how much Frank likes Low Voltage and that his combos become significantly larger with Low Voltage than with Peekaboo (after anything large they flip out and you can’t ground bounce cancel with peekaboo, I don’t think), you may want to go redundant horizontal coverage assists for Nem.

Tell me what you find, because I’m very interested in that team composition, you keep choosing teams composed entirely of people I like.

Oh man, I can’t ever get Frank to Level 4… I might be doing the wrong combos. D:
It’s really good, because all of Nemesis’ combos build at least one bar, so the DHC into Round Harvest is almost guaranteed. As you said, Duke, having Trish back as the anchor after leveling up is just great. One thing I’m disappointed in, though, is that I couldn’t get off Maximum Voltage -> Survival Techniques -> Snapshot. They’d roll away if I did it too late, or they’d get hit by Frank if I did it too early. D:

I need to work with this team some more. And I really, really miss Dormammu. My day 1 Vanilla buddy. ;_;

P.S. - I like Peekaboo because it’s a really good defensive tool. playing my friend, I punished about 6 Foot Dives because I threw up the trap before hand. That, and with Frank on point, you can kind of do the same trick I would with Snapshot and Dark Hole, but it’s a lot more spacing specific. But afterward, I could get off j.MMHS -> j.MMHS -> j.MMHS -> S -> sj.MMHS -> Snapshot -> Launcher Slam -> Roundhouse Kick M -> Snapshot. Alas, it is only 44 hits ;_;

Okay, last thing, I swear. The THC with all three is awesome… Frank OTG’s, Nemesis rockets catch while Round Harvest hits, and Round Harvest ends just in time for the Nemesis stomp. Shit looks badass.

(I haven’t hit the lab yet though, this is all stuff I found out playing my friend just now)

Woot, there’s some THC synergy. Mine is kinda crappy when Firebrand is in, and kinda awesome when it’s just Frank and Trish. I do like Peekaboo a lot, but I find that with all the raw tagging, having either a good horizontal projectile or a shopping cart always on hand is great, though having both on hand is not exactly necessary. I love Trish trap, but I didn’t find room for it. I hope that’s not the case with youz. Also, yeah the order is awesome. I was skeptical about Trish anchor, and then I labbed her level 3 two days ago. OH MY GOD. Screw Wesker, where has Dark Trish been all my life?

Also, I can’t believe I’m suggesting ditching Nem on a Nem team-building thread, but I know for a fact that Dorm’s chaotic flame into round harvest works too, and the amount of hits at many times brings frank to level 5. Plus, dark hole. I was gonna use that team, but my Dorm’s still just combos and no movement, and would kinda be ass on point.

Either way, though, the team sounds pretty fly, and Nemesis and Frank do like defensive traps.

task arrows allows for great zoneing and rushdown, trish trap allow you to set up command grabs, and unblockable grabs if timed correctly on a incoming opponent, also you get unblockables from task and trish being together due to round harvest and taskmasters unblockable attack, that team has amazing synergy. also nemesis mixups are so dirty with trish assist, its very scary.

Both of these things Nemesis can do solo. His mixups are dirty enough as is too. You’d be better off with another assist as far as Nemesis goes.

Wow, your list of teams is silly long.

So, since I run Nemesis/Ammy, I agree that they rock together, but I’ve never really explored what Ammy can gain with Nemesis behind her. Care to explain? I sort-of really want to hear what Nemesis assists do for Ammy combos and pressure.

How do you combo his rocket slam assist? It won’t make my opponent pop up

Did you already use a ground bounce with your on point character?
