aojiru is seriously ftw.
ive recently played gouki that can shut me down like kanbara’s. i feel a little inspired after watching aojiru. always a source of inspiration that guy. his match vs guile is a little reckless though. cab’s speed is pretty crazy though. aojiru is definitely better because hes more conservative.
edit: Just got an HD capture device and have been documenting my progress with Boxer through middle G2 and beyond. I’m far from a Rog expert but I try to describe the fights and give advice I’ve learned here and there in the description. Not to mention the captures are beautiful with this Hauppauge HD PVR :wgrin:

you did clp x 4 > overhead about 7 times. and by the… 4th time i think he fucked you every time for it. against someone good maybe you can get away with it the second time since they are thinking no way will you do it again, but after that you are fucked

use c.hp way more, keep that bitch out of the air, he doesnt deserve to be there, hes a shoto and should know his place on the ground lying down

Believe me, I know I was pretty predictable that match and didn’t deserve to win. I usually mixup a lot better and c.HP the hell out of crossups (especially people who jab jab, jump, jab jab, jump hunting for it). It was super late and I should have been sleeping :wgrin:

i too picked up a few things from this vid… epic match :D… many times against good sagats my dash punches get sealed off by FA’s and tiger knees… or at least they make it hard for me and as such i throw less of em out and more of TAPs and torpedo dashes…
but watching aojiru stay at midrange and use the range of long cancelable pokes such as c.mp xx dash punches and s.lp xx dash punches to seal off FA’s and tiger knees was very impressive indeed!
