Sorry man, your situation sounds sad but its not dire. If you were dying of cancer or some terrible shit and had no way to pay for a trip because of the american health care system im sure the people of srk would be more helpful. But this event is held every year and is not a once in a lifetime opportunity, just get whatever job you can and save up like every other poor student (including me) for next year. Being 18, im 100% theres no reason why you cant a job and raise the money.
