I was trying to do it like sim’s teleports(reverse tiger knee and delay a split second before hitting the button), but doesn’t seem to work consistently. Any tips?
for me personally
I just do a spd motion starting from forward going clockwise
that way i don’t worry about timing

There is a slight delay between when you do the kick though. Very very brief. That’s how I been doing it. You gotta practice it, its not hella easy, but not hella hard either.
The tiny bit of extra delay messes me up quite a bit. Different than Cammy’s where can just crank it out as fast as possible.
It sounds logical why people would have trouble with this, theory wise, if you do it too fast, you’ll only get her pinwheel kick because the motion is also a different ground attack.
Unlike Cammy, there is no command attack and Crimson Viper automatically detects the Super Jump motion so it would make sense that Juri is quite odd. I find myself that I am having trouble with the move.
Its a very tight movement, I had some luck puling it off in matches. I never played Cammy so I guess I don’t have that habit :lol:
ive found the easiest way to do it is to just go 2147 (SLIGHT pause) then kick. u might as well have her jump backwards because since shes so low to the ground the direction she jumps in will hardly effect the range of the attack. it doesn’t do good damage, as only the first attack will hit (EX the second hits as well). i cant find any way to combo off this, which would be the only way to make it useful (maybe FADC off the dive kick into something? ultra possibly? i dont have the hand speed to FADC into ultra to figure this out).
at this point i can only seeing this used as a quick cheeky mix up, or to quickly smack someone out of a focus attack
I have pretty dumb question, but I don’t get to spend much time in training mode. Is dive kick and overhead? Also, I started practicing TK dive kick last night. I just started adding in extra motions to compensate for the delay you need to avoid pinwheel. I do 214741+K. Looks stupid I know, but it kind of works?
I’ve spent over an hour last night in training mode trying to practice Juri’s instant dive kick and for me personally, its just too unrealiable to use in a match setting. Do the motion too quick and you get a pinwheel, do it too late and you’ve jumped into the air.
Ironically, Cammy’s instant dive kick is super easy to do.
What kind of uses does this have? I tried it out in training mode and all I get is a complicated knockdown, 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike don’t even connect.
quick focus attack break. id rather use pinwheel kick tho. so far it seems this is kinda useless.

Its possible to combo the light version of the TK dive kick into ultra II in the corner. Just tested that myself, though I think it might work midscreen too. the timing is pretty darn tight though, so it does require that you learn to hitconfirm it. I have a video recording setup, Ill see if I can record something. to help everyone out.
EDIT: seemed to have just gotten it down. Now ill test to see if it works midscreen.

erebos, does the combo into ultra 2 work only on some chars or most/all?
Haven’t really tested that out yet, sorry. Ill work on it right now, though combo into ultra II does work on Gouki(Akuma) in the corner. Ill put up a list here once I confirm it on a few more characters.
I’ve played Cammy, and I can do her air cannon spike very quickly, but it doesnt seem to work the same for Juri. Maybe I am doing it to quick. Im not sure, just need more practice.
ok, ive done a bit of testing, and now know the following:
the lk dive kick can combo into the ultra II on most, if not all, charicters in the corner. Ive managed to randomly hit it midscreen on ken and ryu, though I have no idea what the timing for it is: ill need to record some practicing and watch it in slow mo in order to get a better idea of what the hit timing is, and if its even feasible. Perhaps there is a delay in when the ultra needs to be done in order to hit midscreen…
Here is a list of what ive found to combo into it:
EX low Fuhajin (QCB+ [MK+LK])
EX Pinwheel (QCB+KK)
LK Pinwheel (QCB+K)
Super (Dbl QCB+K) Midscreen Only*
Ultra II (Dbl QCF+KKK) Corner Only**
*Not fully tested
**could possibly work midscreen, but EXTREMELY tight timing
All this being said, Juri’s dive kick is not an overhead, so it really isnt a mixup, and it seems like its only even (or worse) on block for the LK version.
These are just my initial observations though. there could be some stuff I missed.
works midscreen, easy combo. not to useful unless you can hit confirm it.
imo it might help MIND GAEMZZZ but putting into combos?? i don’t see it being nearly as useful as cammy’s instant cannon spike.
