Yo Dale if you trying to play KOF or Tekken and not afraid of losing hit me up! Like I said I’ll play with you, but I still can’t understand how you losing would not want you to get better. Its completely understandable for me to lose to Justin, the guy is completely out of my league, but that gap makes me want to close it even more. May not be going out to gatherings much this week with the fair and all, but I should still be playing if you’re interested.

I’m just fine with being a scrub coming out to give Slayton money. With 2 kids and shit going on with them EVERY GOD DAMNED WEEKEND I have zero opportunity to play in person with folks. If this was 10 years ago I’d help you build up the community myself. As it stands now, you’ll see me at WNB and maybe something more (birthday/halloween parties making 27th a no-go).
Roski, what’s your number? I’ve been getting into KOF and was playing a decent amount with P-Soul over the summer even though I’m primarily a Marvel head. I do enjoy KOF though and I’m trying to level up. Also, do you actually live in Greensboro or somewhere else in the Triad because if your trying to travel to sessions/tournaments I can definitely pitch in for gas and everything since I don’t have a car right now. I’m always down to play and actively and trying to get better.
People been complaining and complaining page after page of “Nobody’s coming out. The scene is dying.” Yet NOBODY is posting up looking for games or people to play but for Sneak. Everybody trying to point the blame at someone else but themselves. People that don’t ever post all of a sudden are concerned and care. VA, MA, GA, and probably some other east coast states (NY I know for sure gets it in) have been playing all weekend long while all NC accomplished was a “discussion” that solved nothing.
Brent is having games at the usual place and time today. KOF and P4A. WNB is the very next day at the usual place and time. Lets just see how many people on here who were busy blaming someone else actually come out to either of these.

We want to host another tourney in rocky mount but we only have a few systems and games but we have no montors… We want to hold it the 1st weekend in nov if yall came come and help out with systems and montors then we gonna wave the tourney fee.
While everyone was busy talking I had a small Tekken session on Saturday seeing as how I was unable to make it out to LingMassacre’s. The guy who won the BFP tournament came over…and was sent back to Greensboro with his tail between his legs.
I play Tekken…IN PERSON. Keep that online shit to yourself. If you want some, im not a hard guy to find.
Let me make this clear, if you say you want to play Tekken but cant find way to contact ME, Justin, or make it to any of the public sessions, stop bullshitting yourself.
I want to learn Tekken, DOA5, KOF, AE, but in most cases I need someone to help me out as I am a complete beginner to those particular games. Anyone game to help me out?

There are plenty of people that play most of those games that have sessions near or in Raleigh. No more excuses unless you don’t have a whip. Contact some people!
