What is the carpool plan? I might be interested.
I’m liking DoA5’s practice mode. Why can’t other fighting games have frame data in their training mode.

I promise I’ll go easy on anyone who wants to learn. I’ll still be kind of scarce since I’m still in school but I’mma try my best to be playing GG more than I have been playing other games. I don’t care how good/bad the netplay is.

Beware of Jame’s Sol. He will run at you from full screen only to do a DP when he gets to you. Its unblockable.

I really don’t have a lot of faith in DOA lasting TBH. That said, I think it is grabbing some of the VF players- VF felt empty tonight.
If GG has godlike netcode, I think I might just go in on that game. Gotta stomp on the ground and make bats and shit and do random half screen BBUs and make Blake mad lol
VF doesn’t have it near to the extent DOA has it though. DOA displays more information that’s important along with the fact that you can run the menu showing all of that stuff in every single part of the game. Online, vs, training, arcade, anything. It’s a separate option. I actually had it running in an online match and this guy was doing a move that was like +54 and i’m like oh oh okay I just won’t hit buttons, I have to counter this lol.
DOA will last if the community wants it to. It’s grabbing VF players, people are realizing 5 is actually a legit fighter. The main thing is if Tecmo will support their game hard. If they give it support it should be fine.
Also because people are talking about GG. We will have pads and sticks for people to use so come enter it at the KDP tournament. Initially we were hoping to have +R because there was talks about it releasing in August/early september but unfortunately that isn’t happening yet for ps3/360 but you should come experience probably one of the last Accent Core tournaments on ps2 ever kind of like what we did when we had the last Anniversary Edition tournament at EZ before 3SO came out.

So, Bali + games again at my place on Thursday night. We’ll play whatever ;(
Now that this game has counters that do a lot less damage, and certain stun properties that people can’t hold out of, I could see people more people wanting to pick the game up (as opposed to DOA4). And while I have no idea whether it will last or not, there’s at least less of a reason it shouldn’t last. Not saying that I’m in full support of DOA5 (since my main focus in FG’s is still P4U), but I will make time for it.

The 41414141 glitch found by GentlemanThief (top VF player, only works with VF chars) day 1 in DOA, and the Mila ground attack infinite- I’m thinking DOA5 just isn’t ready for prime time yet. I really did want it to be, I was going to buy it, but glad I had to wait a couple of days, and I’ll now be waiting for the patch. Also heard the char I wanted to play (Bass) got nerfed to oblivion, as did some of the rest of the cast. I already play one bottom-tier char in 3D, I don’t need two.
Make sure you’re getting those carpools ready, gas is too much to go alone (unless your guaranteed to win one of the games).
I know Tal is driving 7 people man. That ride is gonna be cheap as hell I bet. We got SC, VA, and GA coming to it. Don’t make the saying “NC doesn’t even support it’s own events” true.

yeah man, I’ll look forward to it this Novemeber.
The Mila infinite doesn’t actually work though, people later found out you can tech out of the first hit to the ground (only the hits afterward will leave you stuck in an infinite).
Edit : sorry, it was Bayman that won the IPL tournament (the other grappler who’s supposed to suck. lol). Though he’s actually pretty good in DOA5 now.
Are there any videos from that tournament?
