It brings me great pleasure to announce the start of two new FG tournament seasons at Elite Zone in Fayetteville. KDP will be holding monthly/semi-monthly tournaments for various fighting games starting in September, leading up into next June.
A-Spec will be the primary tournament, being held nine times (once a month) before culminating in the Annual to be held next June. The following games are scheduled as part of this series:
SSF4: AE 2012
UMvC3
KoF XIII
SFxT
B-Spec will be the secondary tournament, modeled after NorCal Install. It will be held 5 times, once every 2 months, also leading up to the same Annual next June. Games that are slotted for the B-Spec Series are:
BB:CS Extend
GG:XX Accent Core Plus
Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code
Skullgirls
In addition, there will be a 5th slot each tournament dedicated to games not on the main rosters. For September, A-Spec’s 5th game will be 3rd Strike, while B-Spec will play Persona 4 Arena.
The first A-Spec tournament will be held Sept. 22, followed by B-Spec on the 29th. All player stats will be tracked throughout the season to determine seeding at events / various awards at the end of the season.
As for the September tourneys, there will be a prize bonus to celebrate the season opening. All A-Spec games will have a $200 bonus in their prize pools. B-Spec will have $100 for each game. 5th Slot games will be ineligible for this bonus, and a tourney must have at least 8 players to receive the pot boost.

We’ve also partnered up with WNB so that we can work them into the seeding system for the June major. Look for the announcement on that to come out sometime next month. If you’re interested in joining the season when the rating system is done, or just testing it out, hit me up on FB (cause SRK hates low-bandwidth sattelite connections from Afghanistan).

Can’t say my place is the most comfortable, I only have a futon with bird poop on it so one of you is gonna have to sleep on the floor and the other is gonna have to roll around in bird poop but if you guys can accept those conditions then you’re welcome to stay.
ADDITIONALLY. People are welcome to try Roski’s product at my place after the tournament till whenever. Kinda like an after WNB after party except it’s not a party because I’m lame.
