Also…anyone playing VF5? I’m mildy curious about being medium interested.
I’m…“playing” VF5, as in…attempting to hit buttons intelligently.
Strategic mashing has never failed me.
I’m playing VF some. I was an ok player I guess in 4, now in the process of shaking the rust off and getting used to character changes. Maybe I’ll actually try and learn more than one character, who knows.
VF makes me not want to play KOF anymore, it’s that good. I’ve been putting about 2-3 hours a day into it right now.
KoF is good enough to make me not even want to try Arthritis Fighter.
But it isn’t Arthritis Fighter any more.
Long time dustlooper/shoryuken home page lurker here. Since this seems to be the place to go for the NC scene, figured I’d pop in and say hi. I’ll try to pop my head in on that WNB from time to time.

I did play BB all the way up to CS2 (kune scrub for life), but have yet to get my hands on csex, so all skill I might have fooled myself into thinking I had has vanished. I dabble in GG but don’t play it regularly enough to understand anything (bridget/ABA scrub for life).
All in all I’ll mash buttons to any game you want to put on screen.
Thank you all who showed up to Wednesday Night Brawls Episode 23 which was another great event yet again! People keep leveling up and that KOFXIII hype has never been this good. Many thanks to those players that have helped with commentary on some of the matches going on at WNB, we really appreciate it. Video archives will be posted soon!!!

Just plugged my stick into my PS3, seems to be working fine. Hope the 360 mod didn’t go out on me.
To anyone who has played the arcade version of VF5:FS, does it feel different on the console port or is it just me? I know its typical to hear that “Its not arcade perfect,” but I am feeling like I understand a little more from those who have played competitively on the arcade in “X” fighting game then switched to console. Not an issue, just noticed it felt different as soon as I started playing. Still a lot of fun. Already learning more now that I can completely isolate my character in training mode.
Nothing’s wrong with Bridget. I actually enjoy playing with that character. 
But on the “How do I play GG” note, here’s something I came across:

Gonna try and get my act together. Been wanting people to play KOF soooooooo badly and now that there’s people playing, including a venue with tournament in line-up, I just don’t have the time to practice/play. Tekken is top of the list and I do want to see where VF will go. I plan on being in Richmond for the KOF tournament if all goes well, so hopefully I’ll see a bunch of you guys out there and HOPEFULLY I’ll be more than a punching bag/pot monster. Blargs.
FS does have some sound/graphical downgrades on the console port.
I finally saw footage of “Divekick”, that looks like the best drinking game ever made, yo UGHH!!
June 27th will be the next tournament I can make it to. I’m brushing up my commentary skills by adlibing over Wu-Tang songs.
