I liked Tom’s comments on the vid. He was being real, showing them how people get when they’re really competitive and take something seriously.
Because we all know outright venom is the correct approach to every situation. It’s gotta be like that? Good shit NC FG community, way to ensure that we will continue to stagnate until nobody cares anymore.
I seriously just don’t get it. When are people going to realize that being a dick is not the best way to get people to see your point of view? Tom, you didn’t accomplish ANYTHING by making those comments, other than to piss off some people and potentially ruin any possibility of helping to grow our scene. More players, even if they’re casuals, is always better for a scene, because everyone will contribute something. That’s how you get situations like old school Cali, where their scrubs were better than some of EC’s top players. You’re basically saying that you don’t give a shit about the community.
People are moving on with their lives, somebody has to take up the mantle. But attitudes like that will ensure that the FG community in NC will die with this generation. If you don’t care, that’s all well and good, but don’t act like you do care and then pull crap like this.

Hey man, I’m off every Monday and Tuesday to my knowledge. Every Monday for the past month Angus and I have played MVC3 for generally at least 15 hours straight. We’ve seriously played ~1000 matches in the span of 4 separate days. Call me and come through?
KomboKaze was one of the better players in this game pre-FR. I’m sure he’s only gotten better. What a lot probably don’t realize is that some people don’t respect what you’re doing in the game and will not stop hitting buttons. On the other end of the spectrum, some people are just going to go buckfuckingwild while others get snuck wanting to start a fight slow and feel the other person out (and thinking they’ll do the same) while they sit there trying to zone and get rushed the fuck down.
Can someone explain why the NC mid-tier start to get all uppity and elitist when the new people post? Stop picking on the new guys when I’m the one in school punching you in the face. This odd phenomenon is due for a SyFy channel special.
