On another note. EZ was fucking GDLK. I got bodied by OJ’s Phoenix…I would say I’m going to hit the lab and get better…but I’ll wait till I get back lol. Hopefully NC will be this hype when I get back.
Good stuff at elite zone. I got like 20-30ish recordings of various games so i’ll post those up through the days and let you guys know with the Faye vs Triangle battle being top priority out of them. In total this is like… 6 gigs though so like I said gonna be a few days.

What a joke.
Being new to the fighting game scene I don’t care if I win or lose, I just want to play to learn and get better at the game. I enjoy almost every match including the ones I get demolished in because I am able to get better, break bad habits and learn match ups.
In a phoenix match I learn nothing and I have no fun, win or lose. There is a reason why one second the crowd is cheering and very into the matches getting played, and then when (dark)phoenix comes on screen its all side conversations and loss of interest and we all know what that reason is.
I feel the same way about Marvel in general. The game is fun, but competitive? Not quite. It’s too insignificant to lose 1, even 2 characters. I want to win at everything, but I don’t give a fuck when I lose in Marvel. The game is too random, and gives you way to much of a reward for bad play. Phoenix is just the icing on the cake.
Shouts out to everybody from EZ last nite! Real nice turn out and great gamers. Alice-Chan, I’m glad you got some good footage up. Next time I’ll bring a extra TV for Melty Blood,my bad. Everybody was playin at a high level in lots of different games, real cool time! I really wanted to get my hands dirty in some GGXXAC, but we needed more old school TVs. SSF4 was very enjoyable, learned alot about my play style and characters. Late night Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition was dope!! Long live the Old School! You guys all held it down with a lot of different characters,that’s what I like to see.

I have an LG 42in 1080p 240hz. Yeah, its laggy. Its noticeable, but not egregious.
Yo elite zone was godlike. I leveled up an assload, it was it was cool getting to play some new people. Tom I was especially impressed with, best wolverine I’ve seen so far!
OJ though, your days are numbered! I got you downloaded, now I just need to drag that phoenix out so I can stab her with a beam saber too haha. Lol good shit on teams. I’d complain about dark phoenix but my scrubby combo dropping ass didn’t even make it that far. :lol:
But props either way. I might run Zero Ammy Phoenix for a bit, that team is really fun. Plus my Dante sucks.

GG’s to everyone who came out to EZ. I still feel that my main problem is that I don’t stick with a team for more than a few days at a time. I just really don’t know who I want to play in this game. I hope everyone can make it out again and I hope that the players who have yet to make it out will at least attend one session before the tournament. As for Phoenix if I remember correctly the only person who actually lost to OJ’s Dark Phoenix during the exhibition was Garrett, everyone else for the most part lost to his Sentinel.

yeah Elite Zone was legit as hell. all of NC needs to put that place on their mind. big thanks to Kevin (and all of Fayetteville) for putting this thing together. just like Jon i really leveled up being there. its very obvious that they have been grinding REALLY hard at this game. Tom was very impressive but it was Will and OJ that really threw me for a loop. they were the only two Fayetteville players I couldnt even get a single match on…NOT A SINGLE ONE. but as people saw, DeMo plays his some mnfn Mortal Kombat lol. i will DEFINITELY be back…if only to get some more Grandson’s. REAL TALK RDU you guys missed some good shit there. Mr. Frank the Nugget Tank might even have his hands full taking that place on.
Alice-Chan: is there a way for me to get some Tekken strats to your friend. I couldnt help him too much last night because I wasnt fresh on my Asuka goods. but he does have potential and I wanna play him more.
