What the eff am I supposed to do with HDR Sagat? Do I play him like SSFIV, but with more st.LK and fireballs?
I keep getting bodied by long range normals.

play a tight lockdown zoning game with him and learn how to AA and not get predictable with fireballs, learn to trap and learn all your proper spacing with his normals. Most of your damage is probalby going to come from blocked fireballs. HDR sagat is kind of middling and not that great unfortunately but he’s still winnable. I’ll play hdr or st with you on xbl if you have it.

-Yo if anybody wants to come through after 7:00 and play, that’s fine. Only thing is since it’s a weekday, they will be checking for parking, so you’ll need to park next to the meters and put about 2-3 dollars in there for the next couple of hours until they stop checking (which is after about 9:15).
I can’t really help with that this time 'cause I’m broke and can’t even get Marvel 3 DLC characters right now.
-Jimmy, I saw someone beat that damn boss using the sword in Ghouls n Ghosts, so now I know it’s possible. If you still want to take it on as a personal (without watching the video on youtube :nono:), feel free.
-Final Round was fun as fuck! I got to see some hype matches, chill with you guys, see some familiar faces AND see soooo many people get salty in Marvel 3. 
I haven’t touched any games since coming back home. I’m still going through all the matches I lost in my head and thinking about new strategies.
One thing for sure is: I need a crash course in AH3 matchups. Fuuuuuck. How the hell do you go 0-3 in that game? Anybody with specifics on Saki vs. whoever or just wants to set up some matches hit me up.

@ Darklight: if you decide to come to Charlotte Fights, we can get some Saki mirror matches going. I was on the stick for a good minute in AH3 with Saki and I’m sure there are some things we can show each other. But I’m not gonna lie, there were HELLA good AH3 players there and one LA Petra player that was bodying almost everyone.

I have possible plans to go to Colorado this summer, although it’s dependent on someone else which i’ll know whether i’m going or not sometime April. If not I had already been putting money away for some kind of summer trip and so ECT for myself is definitely a possibility, at the least i’m looking into it if the cost is reasonable.
If AH3/SSF4 will be played then ill try to show depending on the time.

Julian, I already saw that video and was saddened. It’s basically hitting the flies with the sword and dodging fireballs. The video tells me nothing other than it’s possible, not really a “how to.” So yes, I’ll probably still do it.
Around 8 would be fine with me, last night before the real tourney starts so if anyone else wants to drop by thats cool too since I’ll be watching my bracket implode on itself the rest of the week.
Well as of right now I got the time off lol so I’ll do my best to be there.

I hate to not show up again but I realized I’m super tired after I got home. Think I need to get some sleep tonight, so maybe sometime later this week or next if you want to play, we can get something going. I’d probably only get an hour or two of games in if I dropped by tonight so it’s probably not worth the drive lol
