I love Conan but the facts are that Conan is losing to Letterman, while Leno was beating Letterman when he had the show. I like Leno too, but I like Conan more, I find it hard to believe at times that Conan could have lower ratings than Letterman, Letterman is not funny at all in my opinion, but I have noticed that while there is a massive amount of support for Conan, it is the youth and the internet bloggers that love Conan, which is a minority compared to the general middle age to senior citizen public, who tend to push for Leno.
I knew that it was only a matter of time until Leno would get his late night show back when Conan took over, the middle age and up group at my work dont like Conan at all, but love Leno. Like I said, I like both a lot, Conan wins for me just because he is so wild but Leno delivers good laughs too.
For those that didnt see it. Kimmel is dressed up as Leno ( lisp, wig and big chin) and mocking him by doing a shitty monologue with crappy jokes. Now hes doing the headlines bit still in character.
What’s Lettermans thoughts on all this. I’d kill to see these Kimmel clips.
And i just want one thing from Conan if he walks. Stay far, far away from fox. NBC is one thing, But Fox cancels every good thing it gets. I’m looking at you Terminator, futurama, firefly, etc…
It’s refreshing that every other late night personality is taking Conan’s side. He has bent over backwards and done way too much stuff for NBC for them to fuck him over in favor of that fat bobble head with a speech impediment.
And by the way, Jimmy Fallon only has a show because of Tina Fey. She has a lot of say in what goes on at NBC now and for some reason people think she’s credible.
