Beta 1 vs Current

Nobody has catelogued the specials to check for differences yet.

Ken’s flowchart has a timeless, classic quality to it, you can’t compare it to some artless scissor kick spam. It has been the creative force behind songs, trolling, actual flowcharts and last but not least, some of the saltiest comments in the history of SF.

You can follow up all slashes now with the lp mp TC, but I’m not sure if that’s new (could’ve sworn it was just lk and ex slash). You can also hitconfirm mk slash off of cc St. HP.

Thanks for noting his buffs. I was at my wits end with some of the nerfs he got. I really like the EX moonsault slash buff he got.

You cant Vtrigger cancel the start up of SB anymore but you can with EX Sonic Boom.

The corner combo of s.fierce xx fierce Sonic Boom, s.Strong etc… no longer works. You can’t link off of fierce boom anymore.

What’s this f+LK combo I’ve been hearing about? I couldn’t link anything after it from point blank but I keep hearing you can

Is the st.MK<st.HK<st.MK a new target combo? I don’t remember it in beta 1.

It really is quite bad I don’t use Charlie but I played a Charlie earlier he woke up with ex scythe and I beat it clean with a Cammy normal can’t remember which one tho

No, that’s been in it since phase 1.

Does his CA travel full screen? And can you do his divekick both in the air and on the ground like Adon?

Also, a random question, but is hard knockdown still a thing in this game? All the moves seem to cause soft knockdown.

Infiltration streaming Nash and he’s doing some incredible stuff. His movement and neutral with Nash is crazy.

-A lot more normals are V-Trigger cancelable, such as cr.Forward, s.RH, f+Fierce, etc…
-Directional inputs removed from target combos such as, s.MK~Fierce~f+MK (no longer require the forward input)
-V-Skill no longer causes a knockdown against an airborne opponent.
-f.Short hitbox seems buffed. It no longer causes a soft knockdown on juggle or counter hit. Causes an air reset in juggle and leaves opponent standing on counter hit. f.Short recovery reduced making it safe on block.
-f.Fierce causes a crumple on Crush Counter now. Max damage CC combo using f+LK no longer works.
-f.Fierce recovery reduced
-s.Fierce is now a Crush Counter
-cr.Fierce, v-Skill no longer works
-s.Forward is special cancelable. It now whiffs on crouching characters.
-The corner combo of s.Fierce xx Fierce Sonic Boom, s.Strong etc… no longer works. You can’t link off of the Fierce Sonic Boom anymore.
-You can no longer V-Trigger cancel the start up of regular Sonic Booms but you still can with EX Sonic Boom
-EX Moonsault Slash tracks better and hits lower to ground. You can no longer link cr.Strong after but you can link into jab~strong TC
-You can link jab~strong TC from all Moonsault Slashes
-RH Sonic Scythe launches higher allowing for new juggle opportunities such as RH Sonic Scythe xx f+V-Trigger, nj.RH, RH Sonic Scythe or corner juggle RH Sonic Scythe, f+LK
-RH Sonic Scythe is no longer super cancelable
-EX Sonic Scythe faster start up allowing for a reliable anti-air option
-EX Sonic Scythe juggle properties removed. Can no longer do EX Sonic Scythe xx f+V-Trigger, nj.RH, etc… The nj.RH whiffs now.
-Fierce Tragedy Assault is no longer an overhead
-Jab and Strong Tragedy Assault startup have been reduced
-All versions of Tragedy Assault now have a dynamic camera angle on hit
-Tragedy Assault no longer KOs on the first hit if it would. It will wait for the second hit for the KO to drain the opponents meter.

Does anyone remember if you could always link s.Strong from cr.Fierce or cr.Strong? Seems like it’s new and it solves a lot of issues of b+MK whiffing at certain ranges.

I also don’t remember being able to juggle f+LK off of a corner RH Sonic Scythe.

^ f+LK also completely safe now as opposed to being easily punishable in Beta 1.

The juggle in the corner might be a result of the f+LK buff.

Edit: Also realised f+LK air resets in a juggle now… It used to soft knockdown letting you juggle after.

I just did raw super and got like super crap damage…, but it was birdie
