So exactly the same as the first game, great.
KNJ balances the combat so that the combat isn’t one sided like other fighting games where people link a combo and there’s no escape. Anything can be KNJed (even throws), so it really takes more skill and balance of offense and defense, as well as KNJing and countering the enemy’s KNJ, which leads to impressive back and forth reversals and more exciting matches!
NUNS2 really has more unpredictable and skillful matches! Comebacks are more possible, and even those that seem to be winning have to be careful every second of the match! NUNS2 really tests players mind and reflexes the entirety of the match!
two new exciting online matches found!

Not gonna lie, I was really enjoying that Sasori’s strategy. But as you can see, as soon a Rock lee gets in close he STILL couldn’t do shit. It’s Like giving Dhalsim Akuma’s escape options and walk speed.
well that Lee player had bad blocking reflexes and defenses, and wasn’t using ranged tactics combined with melee, supports and throws more effectively.
He actually used bomb ninja item at the worst possible situation, and they rarely chakra dash, and weren’t throwing shuriken at all, that would apply some pressure so it delays Sasori’s next actions. With the right timing, knowledge and setup, Lee could have closed the distance more often and find more opening to land hits and maybe even land a jutsu or ougi if they pressure and confuse Sasori.
They had ninja items, chakra, shuriken, throws and supports, but they had no strategy to use them effectively.
Does NUNS2 still have the item that disables the opponent’s chakra? If so, which characters have it? That shit was top tier.
Blocking and using support negates all of that.
I don’t know if it’s still in there, but I do know that Temari doesn’t have it anymore which makes me sad.
throws can’t be blocked, and supports require time to be used again.
So does that Kakuzu guy have more health bars than normal? Or did they just ignore that fact that he has multiple hearts?
But they can be KnJ’d, which just happens to be able to be used while blocking.
it could then be decided by mindgames, throw a shuriken point blank before attempting a throw or another strike.
strikes, shuriken and throws have their own timing to successfully KNJ them. KNJing is easier said than done, and it drains chakra.
and shurikens at point blank range are too fast to KNJ in time unless they expect it, but at that range, they are looking for a strike or throw to KNJ instead. Then factor in supports, and ninja items and there are various ways to try to catch them off guard.
Eventually they will attack, and you can KNJ too, so it’s really based on mindgames, timing and strategy.
Not for me, I just mash block until I teleport out of the way and get free explosive tag damage. Sooooooo easy.
lol @ mindgames.
Game is too skank. I actually like it for how skank EVERY character is, in their own little way. Probably the only FG I’ve played where I don’t feel like a cunt for playing super dirty. Using Gaara, who has some dodgy collision on his ground combos but ridiculous reach on his air string. Killerbee is ridiculously broken though, and the sooner you treat Rasengan/Chidori/Raikiri type moves like DPs the better.
On a serious note, the game would be ten times better if KnJs and Jutsus cost more meter. I’d say about twice as much per use and leave all movement-based meter usage alone. Possibly make the meter usage for a KnJ during hitstun more than for a neutral KnJ.
You on this, Gomu? You not been in the Endless lobbies for a while either.
Also, not unlocked him yet but is Tobi the Dan of NUNS2?!
i applaud your effort affinity, its like its a matter of life or death for you that we take the game competitively when its impossible to take this joke of a FG seriously.
Naruto is srsbsns.
Anyway, the game looks like a lot of fun. I might pick up a copy…
