Still no Shuriken Cancel for Storm and X-dash Cancel not as good? That really sucks man. The KnJ Cancel to Ougi is interesting, something to consider. Since Ougi’s can be KnJed, I don’t find that to be broken in the least.
I still will say that NA2 is most refined entry in the series so far. And yes, CC2 need to make NA4 (or whatever) use NA2 as the base.
I’m not addressing you because I already know you’re wild retarded and wont listen to anything I say. But anyone else pretty much just needs to understand that what this means is, the risk reward of EVERYTHING you do could mean that you possibly get hit with a super, with the only possibly escape being teleporting (and possibly cancelling your own teleport into ougi).
This is like, if everytime you parried in SF3, you could launch a 1 frame super for guaranteed max damage. If the only way to avoid that is mash teleport WHILE you attack, then what are you really doing attacking, or pretty much even playing the game in the first place.
Since almost everything is unsafe when teleported, and combo assists are no longer existent unless the point character is already attacking, the game pretty much into rock 'em sock 'em robots. Even long range damage potential has been eliminated for the most part, sooooooooo game is ass.
Which is ironic because the netcode is not so ass. It’s almost like they took the first game, which ended up just playing SUPER lame from fullscreen, but retaining some elements of strategy, and then just bust it in the kneecaps, so Joe 12 year old can just hop online without getting lamed out & perfected. Just mash out some knj’s & supers and have a good time. And really if that’s what CC2 was going for, I can’t fault them for that.

Knj cancel to Ougi looks lame as fuck. I was hoping this game would have some legs since Gran Turismo 5 GOT DELAYED AGAIN :mad:, but this new discovery looks so fucking ridiculous. I was all about finding the broken shit but wtf the game isnt even officially released in the US and people ALREADY found this kinda shit!?! Wow. Some of my hype got killed as well but im still gonna buy it.
Unless they’ve fixed the kawarmi system, this will be as competitive as the NH/UN series on the PS2, which is not very.
I’ll wait and see before I pass judgement, but I’m more up for Gekitou Ninja Taisen! SP on the Wii for offline competitive play (not online for obvious reasons).:wgrin:
It’s already implied that you can KnJ. Hell it’s already implied that ANY attack can be KnJ’d in these games so that’s pretty much a moot point. It’s still more “dangerous” to get ougi’d like that when you’re stuck in your combo animation than when someone just tries to ougi you out in the open without any help from his/her assists. In that situation at least you can hold block in reaction, in the video Rockman posted, you’re forced to KnJ since there’s no real way to cancel your string and go straight into blocking.
