Famitsu gives UNS2 39/40 review ^.^

Famitsu has been absolute fail recently.

Hope you don’t think that’s proving anything.

Affinity is the funniest troll haha.

I myself never pay attention to whatever famitsu scores a game. It’s really just your own preferences.

Why is everyone trying to make this game competitive? Not even SSR is really looking to play this competitive. I’m just gonna play it because it’s gonna be fun and broken.

Thats is true, famitsu has been giving very high scores for certain games that were not that good at best, but I don’t see this game as being competitive, since I doesn’t really have that much variety, i have uns1 and i got bored of it.

But I am excited for this one! can’t wait to play as pain!!! :wgrin:

Someone shared some gameplay basics:

is hyped ^.^

I’ve been asking the same noob questions in other forums.

What’s the preferred console version, in terms of online community?

And is there a preferred controller for the game? I never played the original game so I can’t tell what kind of game this is. Is it 3D, or 2.5D? The camera doesn’t really clue me in.

I dunno, 360 is said to have the more vocal community, but PS3 version might get more players since it’s free to play online and stuff. Hard to measure that stuff but since UNS1 originated on PS3, there’s probably going to be more fans on it online.

This game is very friendly for PS3 and 360 controllers, so each works fine, you don’t need a special controller to control good. It’s a full 3-D fighting game with a true 3-D enviornment you can move around in all directions.

here is an example of the fighting.

the movement controls use the analog stick (the d-pad is for the inventory), so you don’t have to worry about breaking your thumbs trying to perform moves with a pad.

As far as I know the 360 usually has better online connectivity than the PS3. Dunno about controllers but I think the PS3 or 360 pads are the ways to go.

characters only have 1 jutsu and 1 ougi this time, aside from Naruto and Sasuke that have 2 different ougi’s. You cant use Ougi’s while you’re in Awakening mode, you also cant use supports or the items you have.

Gaara is quite solid actually, compared to UNS1 his range is improved immensely, and he actually has a useful jutsu this time (Ryuusa Bakuryu). He cant fly though ;(

the wall fighting is gone, the jutsus clashes is also gone.

In general nothing huge was added to the system but alot of things got removed >_>
its still alot of fun though.

if they are comfortable with Resident Evil 4 using analog stick,

they will be comfortable with UNS2 since the characters don’t control like tanks.
RE4 didn’t release for X360, but RE5 is basically the samething. NUNS2 has great smooth controls made for PS3 and X360 controller.

from playing na2 so much this is all gonna take a lil used to getting used to. thanks once again for the info.

guess i’ll have to switch my main. :bluu: compared to NA2 Gaara, this Gaara is garbage lol.

Sai (UNS2) is looking mighty sexy though. Might use Temari as a secondary.

Guys any assist info? Recomended ones? Who has good pop ups, or options to RTSD, or any unblockables setups?

it will take a while to determine what each character does and each Support style works for each character since each character has 3 different Support styles to choose from. Combined, there are about 126 types of supports.

OMG. 3 support type??!?!!? That has NEVER been done before. MvC2 has almost 200 types of support.

Moar proof Affinity knows NOTHING about MvC2.

UNS1 was pretty good as a fighting game. I liked the game mainly because the controls were simplistic enough for anyone to start playing and it was the 1st Naruto game that is actually true to the series. UNS is a fighting game experience more than it is a balanced game.

It’s a very fun game but there really is no sense of balance when it comes to certain characters. The characters are usually well known mainly because the characters in the game are as strong as they are in the series.

Balancing aside, I can’t wait for UNS2 seeing as it’s finally making a 360 debut which is the “online” system of choice. I feel bad for the PS3 users with all their crap internet connections. Even when perfectly setting up ports, it doesn’t even compare to a 360 connection ~

I never said it’s never been done before. And it’s obvious MVC2 has more support types total, genius.

No that’s just more proof you don’t know anything about me, you’re just making yourself sound ignorant.

When I said NUNS2 supports have 3 types, I was already well aware for years (since MVC2 was released in arcades) about MVC2’s 3 type system for character assists. I never said UNS2 invented this feature, I never said UNS2 was the first, I was just implying that this is a new feature within the UNS series (including the Team Jutsus).

Fixed?

BTW is it me or does Ten ten (yes she is in the game oddly enough) suck?

Ten Ten was fucking beastly in the first game. She could fill the screen with so much shit that it was very hard to get in on her. I dunno how she is in UNS 2 though.

There’s no reason to be butthurt.

Anyways, I think I’m going to pick this up. It looks cool.
